Plot[]
Ghost King was still in his chair, he had fallen fast asleep from the bliss or remembering past adventures since he stole back a slab of rock with pictograms and Gaelic writing. It was hours later when he finally awoke.
Ghost King: (Waking up, half asleep) Hmmm? I must`ve passed out.
He rubs his eyes to remove the crusted up dream sand that outlined them. He studies it and nodded.
Ghost King: Yellow, not purple. Good.
He yawned and got up from his chair, then prepared for a new day.
Theme song!
Ghost King goes to his room to get on a fresh set of clothes. he then shambles to the kitchen and sits.
Ghost King: Chef! Breakfast...or lunch...whatever time it is.
Rojo walks in. She has breakfast and smiles.
Rojo: Good morning master.
Ghost King:...You`re still here? You can go home you know.
She nods, then gives him breakfast and prepares to leave.
Ghost King: And sleep off your mind control, I`ll reactivate it when I need you again!
Rojo: Yes master.
She finally leaves. Ghost King rolls his eyes and eats.
Ghost King: Crazy thug. I know she`s not in her right mind, but still.
He continues to eat his cereal.
Ghost #1: Good morning sire. Fall asleep while travelling down memory lane?
Ghost King: Worth it.
He finishes and gets up.
Ghost #2: What mayhem do you have in plan today highness?
Ghost King: Hmmm...I don`t quite know.
He rubs his chin then begins to pace in circles to think. He then snaps his fingers after getting an idea.
Ghost King: Hey, maybe Krang has work for me to do!
He dials up Krang.
Krang: Yes?
Ghost King: Krang, buddy. Got any dirty work you need done?
Krang: Unfortunately Tennyson trapped us back home in Dimension X. Unlike last time the controls were completely destroyed. We`ll be here about another month.
Ghost King: Oh. Uh, ok then.
He hangs up. He then tries Charmcaster.
Charmcaster: Can`t, Uncle Hex and I are going on a family bonding trip.
He sighs and hangs up again. Now using dark magic to conjure an orb to communicate with Jersey Devil.
Ghost King: Jersey old friend!
Jersey Devil: Ugh. Sorry Ghost King. I`m in too much pain to talk. I wasn`t thinking and broke a holy staff.
Ghost King sighs once more.
Ghost King: I understand. Get well soon.
He ceases the spell. He then paces around more.
Ghost #1: You can always do something yourself.
Ghost King: Yeh. But right now I want to be social.
His minions shrug as Ghost King grunts. He then turns into Leeds and flies over to a life sized mirror.
Leeds: Hey Jersey. Feeling better? What am I up to? Not much.
He sighs and turns back.
Ghost King: I thought that would help.
He then recites a spell and makes himself appear human.
Ghost King: I`m going out. Maybe I`ll make a new friend.
Ghost #1: If you want sire.
Ghost King leaves. He then wanders the streets of Bellwood aimlessly. He sits at the park and watches the humans and aliens.
Ghost King: It`s just no fair. I deserve to have a buddy once in awhile.
He walks away and looks lonely.
Ghost King: I guess I`m just a lonesome ghost.
He doesn`t pay attention to where he`s walking. He walks right into Julie.
Julie: Oh! I`m sorry. Are you ok?
Ghost King slowly rises up. He rubs his head.
Ghost King: Oh, I`m alright. Trust me, I`ve felt worse.
She helps him up. He smiles a little.
Julie: Julie. Julie Yamamoto.
Ghost King: Er. Um. Garret Kingston?
Julie smiles. Unaware of who he really is.
Julie: Nice to meet you Garret. Do you like smoothies?
Ghost King shrugged. He`s never had one before.
Julie: Well come on. I`ll get you one as an apology for not looking where I was going.
She grabs his arm and leads him away. She then buys him a regular smoothie.
Julie: Try it.
Ghost King drinks up.
Ghost King: Hey, this isn`t that bad.
He continues to drink with a smile.
Julie: It`s good, right?
Ghost King: Yes. Very good.
Julie: Well, nice meeting you. I have to get to a tennis game.
Ghost King: Tennis?
Julie: It`s like Badminton but with a ball.
Ghost King: Sounds interesting. Maybe I`ll watch you.
Julie: Whatever you do, have a good day. Maybe we`ll meet again sometime.
She gets up to leave. But the sound of loud thundering steps are heard. Nightmare King rounds the corner and sniffs the air.
Nightmare King: I know you`re here. I can smell you!
Ghost King gulps. He doesn`t want to blow his cover if he doesn`t want to. Nightmare King inhales deep then turns at his enemy and shows an evil, toothy smile.
Nightmare King: Hello Slimewad!
He roars. Suddenly a rocket hits him in the face. Julie has donned Ship and prepares to fight Nightmare King.
Nightmare King: YOU LITTLE PEST!
He roars angrily and charges. She fires another missile in the right spot and disperses Nightmare King`s vessel. A purple orb leaves the broken Tyrannosaur skeleton and vanishes in mid air.
Ghost King: What kind of sorcery is that?
Julie: What? Ship? He`s a Galvanic Mechamorph.
Ship disengages battle mode and playfully jumps up and down.
Ship: Ship! Ship!
Ghost King: He`s pretty cute. Well, good luck on your game.
She nods and leaves. He decides to follow to make sure Nightmare King doesn`t try to get even with her. He then watches her game. She wins, and no sign of Nightmare King. Ghost King sighs a breath of relief. But suddenly a roar can be heard followed by three others. George, Ralph, Lizzie and Larry somehow escaped the Null Void and attack the parking lot.
Ghost King: Those four chuckleheads? I`ll deal with them quick.
He runs into the lot and turns into Ghidrah. George, Ralph and Lizzie snarl, they remember him, and they want a rematch. George pounds his chest and roars before charging at Ghidrah. Ghidrah fires gravity beams at him, Ralph and Lizzie. George and Ralph go down but Lizzie seems to have developed tougher scales. She then grabs onto his middle throat and begins to choke him. Ghidrah bites down and tries to shock her with an electric bite. But she`s still immune.
Lizzie: (In the language of kaiju) Had enough yet?
Ghidrah: (Also in the language of kaiju) Never!
Ghidrah defiantly flaps his wings. Lizzie gets blown down and knocks her head on a lamp post.
Ghidrah: Hey. Aren`t there four of you?
Larry appears from behind and slashes at him. Ghidrah shrieks in pain as his left and right heads bite him and deliver an electric bite in anger. Larry squeaks in pain and falls unconscious. Ghidrah emits an alpha roar and glides away. He then transforms back in secret and returns.
Ghost King: Hopefully nobody got hurt.
Everyone is thankfully fine. Ghost King smiles and begins to leave.
Jimmy: Hey mister. Did you see where the dragon hero went? I bet it was one of Ben`s new aliens! He`s so cool and-.
Ghost King grunts.
Ghost King: Don`t count on it kid.
He walks away. Jimmy sees his watch and grows suspicious.
Julie sees Ghost King approaching.
Julie: Garret! are you ok?
Ghost King: Yeh. I took cover. You?
Julie: I`m fine. Good thing that mysterious dragon showed up huh?
Ghost King nods.
Julie: Good. I`d hate for a friend to get hurt.
Ghost King: Friend?
Julie: Yeh. We are friends. Right?
Ghost King looks stunned. He`s never made a friend this way before. He nods. Suddenly Ben arrives.
Ben: Julie! Is everyone ok?
Julie: Yeh. Ben, meet my new friend Garret Kingston.
Ben: Nice to meet you Garret.
Jimmy then tugs on Ben`s pants and whispers something to him. Ben looks over and glares. He notices the watch too.
Ben: Say Julie. did you know I took down the Jersey Devil last week?
Ghost King: You did...what?
Julie: Really?
Ben: Yep. Totally easy. He was such a push over when that Holy Man showed up. I`m surprised anyone can take him a serious threat.
Ghost King: He`s not a pushover!
Julie: Garret? Is something wrong?
Ben: Oh what`s the matter? Did I insult your friend? Why don`t you drop the act Ghost King!
Julie: Ben! Stop it!
Ghost King`s eyes glow red with anger. He then angrily scrolls through his watch while Ben and Julie argue.
Jimmy: Uh. Ben?
He and Julie turn to see Ghost King has turned into Leeds.
Leeds: (Telepathically) Nobody. But NOBODY, insults my friends!
He extends his wings and roars angrily before he rams into Ben. Ben screams as he lands on the ground.
Ben: Caught you!
He turns into Snake Pit and hisses at Leeds. Leeds roars in anger and breathes hellfire at him. Snake Pit dodges and constricts around Leeds.
Snake Pit: Had enough, you monster?
Leeds bites hard onto Snake Pit`s tail. Snake Pit releases him from the pain and Leeds grabs his throat.
Leeds: Any last words?
Snake Pit: Yeh. You`re exposed.
Leeds freezes. He then slowly turns to a shocked Julie.
Leeds: Er. This isn`t what it looks like?
Julie: And to think I thought you were a good person!
Ship growls at Leeds and envelops Julie. They fire at him point blank as he roars in pain. Snake Pit turns back into Ben as he watches. Leeds gets up, injured.
Leeds: Please. Don`t.
He coughs. Julie stops.
Julie: Leave. Before I change my mind.
Leeds looks sadly at her. He tries to speak but she repeats herself. Leeds then lets out a low rumble of sorrow and flies away.
Ben: You ok?
Julie: I can`t believe I got tricked. Thanks guys.
Jimmy: Any time. We`re all friends here.
They laugh and walk away. Leeds watches from a building top and lets out a roar of sadness before flying off into the now setting sun to home. A single tear can be seen exiting his eye before he vanishes into the brightness of the sunset.
