The League of Paradoxes is a large body, similar to a Parliament, that governs over time. Officially, without King Timascus, the League could ratify nothing, even if this occurred in exceptional cases.

They meet in the Capital of Time, Chronia.

Within the League of Paradoxes is the Time Continuum Task Force, a small elite task force designed to protect the time stream from those who would try to harm it, or worse, completely destroy it.

The dimension in 40: The Last Splixson is commanded by the fates. The League of Paradoxes believe that everything is set in stone and is as it should be. Those who go against fate would be banished by the King Timascus outside of space-time.

Membership[]

The League of Paradoxes is composed of all alternate versions of the same man George Patrickson, better known as Professor Paradox.

Appearances[]

40: The Last Splixson[]

The council meets with Fred after the Milky Way is destroyed, and King Timascus explains to Fred the concept of Fate and how the council abides by it.

Fred attempts to travel back in time, as Chrononaut, back to the genocide of his people, in an attempt to prevent it. He is faced by the League of Paradoxes who explain to him that he would be normally condemned for having committed such an act, but since it abides by fate, he was allowed to continue.

After Fred was able to bring back five Splixsons, these New Splixsons became a living paradox that formed a breach between the universe and the Antiverse. The Anti-Creatures were attacking the Web of Time and attempting to break free into our universe, but King Timascus summons Fred, and they travel to the Antiverse through the gateway (that is to say the New Splixsons). The paradox is rectified by Fred and Deck, a member of the Time Continuum Task Force.

Anur Chronicles[]

The League of Paradoxes bands together Fred and Blank to help stop an impending threat to the rest of the universe. They send them on a mission to stop the Anur System's plans for building a nuclear warhead.
