Kickback is an alien used by Ben Tennyson using the Unlimited Omnitrix. He appears in Ben 10: Beyond Bellwood and originates from the Friendship is Magic universe.

Appearance

Kickback is an Equestrian Pony, resembling a cartoonish Earth horse. He has four legs, a spiky mane, and a large bushy tail. His coat is bright white and his mane and tail are both slick black. He has teal eyes and two black stripes on his right cheek just beneath.

He wears a black brace around the base of his neck, upon which the Omnitrix is placed.

Kickback's dialogue is stylised like that of all characters from the FiM universe. Kickback talks in black text with a white border. He also has a cutie mark, being a teal half-flower with an iron horseshoe overlayed.

Powers and Abilities

Kickback is a generalist alien, with a focus on his incredible leg strength and durability when compared to the other races from his universe. A buck from his hind hooves could shatter an oak tree.

As a horse, Kickback can run faster in a linear dash than most.

Weaknesses

Kickback is arguably the most mundane of the Equestrian transformations, possessing abilities far less pronounced than any of Ben's other aliens. While he is an all-around solid alien, he excels at nothing in particular.

While Kickback is technically capable of wielding Equestrian magic, as an Earth Pony this only usually manifests in their already enhanced physical characteristics.

Cutie Marks represent a Pony's special talent, however Ben has yet to uncover what that means for Kickback.

History

Kickback was first unlocked when the Unlimited Omnitrix scanned Applejack in Death in the Everfree. He was used immediately to demonstrate the capabilities of the Omnitrix to the Main Six in order to convince them of Ben's innocence, after Ben had been arrested in connection to a threat made against the royal wedding.

Ben used Kickback again in Prodigy to attack an off-guard Omni-Spell Terraspin and then make an escape. Kickback's speed and durability helped him descend to the roads of the destroyed Omnitrix City, but he was not fast enough to get away and was ultimately caught.

• In My Little Pony a number of characters share the same manes and body types as one another to make their toys cheaper to produce. Kickback shares his body type and mane style with Soarin of the Wonderbolts.
• The colour of Kickback's eyes and cutie mark are sampled from Diamondhead's crystals, foreshadowing how Ben would ruin his welcome in the FiM universe.
