Ken "Kenny" Tennyson is one of the protagonists of Legends of Tomorrow. Formerly also known as Mr Spanner, is the son of Ben Tennyson and Adora and the brother of Aurora.

As Mr Spanner, he wore a white armored suit, along with a green scarf and white helmet. It looked like he had some sort of gear on his wrists.
Personality[]
Initially, Ken was generally much like his father when he was younger, although overly more confident. In fact, when he was 10 years old, Ken often used the Omnitrix to meddle in his parents' affairs, no matter how dangerous the situation. Although he was criticized for this attitude and deprived of the Omnitrix, Ken's intention was to prove himself capable in the role of hero.
Over the years Ken has become more mature and responsible, like his mother when he was 17, but he continues to throw himself into battle without regard for his own well-being in order to do the right thing. Like his father, he has idealistic views and is reluctant to compromise his values, but his desire to prove himself sometimes pushes him to act against reason, such as aiding Aurora in her quest for power. Nonetheless, he has a good nature.

Powers and Abilities[]
- Omnimatrix Devices: Ken is the wielder of the Omnitrix replica, which gives him the power to modify his own genetic code in order to turn into various alien creatures.
- Aliens Features: When transforming into an alien, Ken gets all the creature's features, including its appearance, voice, all of its unique and special abilities and powers, strengths and weaknesses. Though he mostly retains his personality, there are some cases where the transformation causes a change in it, like with Rath and Juryrigg.
- Universal Translator: The Omnitrix have a built-in Universal Translator that allows Ken to communicate with most aliens that do not speak English.
- DNA Manipulation: The Omnitrix displayed the ability to manipulate and repair genetic damage. Azmuth also mentioned that Ben could use the Omnitrix to bring back to life any species stored on Primus.
- Failsafe: The Omnitrix replica also has a failsafe to help prevent Ken from dying.
Weaknesses[]
- Short Attention Span: Ken appears to have a short attention span and very little patience at times. More often than not, it can get him into trouble. Though he has matured substantially, he is still a teenager with much to learn and is prone to irrational impulses and recklessness.
- Hypnosis: Ken is vulnerable to hypnosis.
- Virus: Ken is vulnerable to the cold virus.
- Corrodium: Ken is not immune to Corrodium and will be mutated when exposed to this mineral unless he either wears special protection or transforms into an alien.
- Electricity Vulnerability: Ken can experience pain from electricity, such as that generated by a Nosedeenian and Phil's as a Terroranchula.
- Omnimatrix Devices: Ken is the wielder of the Omnitrix replica, which gives him the power to modify his own genetic code in order to turn into various alien creatures.
- Times Out: Whenever the Omnitrix times out, Ken is left powerless until he either dodges or switches to a new alien form.
- Aliens Features: In addition to gaining the selected alien's powers and strengths, he gains its weaknesses. At times, the natural biological behavior of certain aliens can override Ken's behavior.
- New Alien Forms: Whenever Ken unlocks a new alien form, he is at a disadvantage of not knowing its abilities and weaknesses until he gains experience with using that alien. However, this was not an issue when he wielded the recalibrated Omnitrix replica, as the device granted him full understanding of the aliens' powers.
- Missing Knowledge: Ken still does not know every function of them.
- Malfunction: The Omnitrix replica does not actually mistransform, but rather it is due to Ben hitting the Omnitrix too hard, thereby causing the time-out function to select another alien at random.
- Illness: Any illness Ken is experiencing in his human form will affect his alien forms.
