Season 1

Kalus Stone is a loner who likes to keep out of peoples' way. One day, he gets the Omnitrix, a device that can turn him into 10 alien transformations. Kalus must learn how to use his Omnitrix while keeping it out of the clutches of villains such as Hex, a sorcerer who believes the Omnitrix to be an ancient magical artifact, Silas, a human who wants to use alien technology for his wicked intentions and Vilgax, an alien warlord who desires the Omnitrix. Kalus learns to accept help from other people instead of fighting his battles alone.

Season 2

A blast from the past appears when one of Kalus's oldest enemies Kevin Levin returns to Bellwood. As well as this, he also finds himself having a new classmate who wants to find out more about him and takes a great interest in his omnitrix. While all this is happening, Silas has found the damaged body of Vilgax and is trying to rebuild him into a cyborg who he intends to work with. Two of Kalus's most powerful enemies as well as a new rival and a mystery in the form of a masked hero is really keeping Kalus on his toes.

Trivia

• A wide variety of aliens were considered for the original 10 but many didn't make the cut:
  • Ghostfreak was rejected due to being somewhat similar to Big Chill.
  • Buzzshock was rejected due to an electric alien already being in the playlist.
  • Overflow was rejected due to Ripjaws existing and 2 water-themed aliens seemed like a bit much.
  • Bullfrag was rejected due to a possible Incursean arc being planned.
  • Atomix was rejected due to being considered too powerful.
  • Jetray and Cannonbolt were both the last 2 aliens to be considered but the creator preferred Cannonbolt over Jetray.
  • Wildmutt was originally going to be in the original 10 and actually made it into the original draft of the series but was kicked out and replaced by Upgrade for plot purposes.
