Jetray is an alien used by Ben Tennyson using the Unlimited Omnitrix. He appears in Ben 10: Beyond Bellwood and originates from the Earth-CDXI.411 universe.
Kevin's version of this alien was named Bat-Man.
This alien has no Unlimited Form.
Appearance[]
Jetray is an upright and somewhat-humanoid manta ray creature with red skin and orange wings. He has two yellow horns and a long tail, and gills running down either side of his chest.
The Omnitrix symbol is placed in the centre of his chest.
Powers and Abilities[]
Jetray's primary ability is high flight, which allows him to reach incredible speeds. This flight is largely unaffected by medium, too, being able to fly quickly through water, air, and the vacuum of space with ease and equal talent. Only his maximum speed is affected by medium, as his body is incapable of breaking the sound barrier.
Jetray can produce neuroshock blasts from his eyes and the tip of his tail. These shots, which Jetray can aim accurately even while flying at high speeds, cause a stunning effect. They cause muscles to spasm and weaken, although the effect is only brief. This makes Jetray a great non-lethal ranged attacker.
Jetray's gills allow him to breath in water, even though Ben was unaware that he could. This breathing is passive while Ben is in water, not active.
Weaknesses[]
Jetray's speed and flight are useless if he is restrained. He is not particularly strong or durable.
Due to the shape of his body, his neck movement is limited.
History[]
Jetray is one of the ten aliens Kev had placed into the Lifeboat Playlist.
Jetray was first used in Death in the Everfree to survive a long drop after Ben accidentally jumped off of a bridge. He landed on the shield encasing Canterlot before returning to the train station whereupon he was captured by the royal guards and arrested. He was assumed to be the threat to the kingdom, which was later revealed to be Queen Chrysalis.
Ben transformed into Jetray in The Other Ben when he was knocked into the moat surrounding the arena where he fought Kevin 11. Jetray prevented Ben from drowning and narrowly escaped the hungry Piscciss Volanns in the waters, and proved effective at fighting Kevin 11. Ben attempted to access Unlimited Jetray but learned that the alien had no Unlimited Form. Unlimited Jetray would have prevented the broken Omnitrix from randomly changing his form, but since the transformation did not exist Ben changed into Fangfare mid-flight.
Jetray was used again briefly in Prodigy when Ben was sent away to take a shower aboard the Last Chance Saloon. Guided by 0GRE, Ben landed in an empty apartment and proceeded to wash and shave.
