Iridescence is one of The Watch's imported creatures in The Force of Light.

Appearance

Iridescence is a tall, buff humanoid with tanned skin, rainbow hair that resemble flames, ears and orange eyes. He wears a red and white patterned bandana around his neck and light beige shirtless sleeves and beige baggy pants. He has The Watch symbol on his left shoulder, colored a darker shade of beige.

There isn't much of a difference between his current design and his old design, besides his skin being a bit lighter, having small details around the waist area of his pants and the absence of his bandana.

Powers and Abilities

Iridescence's energy comes from three elements; fire, color and light. His main ability is to control rainbow fire, generate rainbow fire from his hands and using so in combat. With his ability to control rainbow fire, he as well is able to control fire, with also having the ability to detect fire from afar and breathe out fire.

More onto his color side, Iridescence is able to camouflage onto any surface, changing his clothes, hair and skin's color. He as well can absorb the color of an object and use the color for basic attacks such as beams and blasts. Iridescence can also fire out different colors from his eye. Each color that comes out of his eye has a different temperature based on the color, for reference red being the hottest and blue being the coldest.

Iridescence is also fast to regenerate if his flames were to go out.

Weaknesses

Iridescence's number one weakness is water. If Iridescence were to come in contact with water from the outside, he doesn't exactly grow weak but his powers can be disabled for a bit, but he'd be able to regenerate quickly if he weren't to feel weak. Water that Iridescence comes in contact with from the inside doesn't affect him very much if it were to be many amounts of water.

Despite being able to wield fire, smoke can still affect Iridescence, making him cough. Which is why there's a bandana around his neck.

Etymology

The name "Iridescence" means "the quality of showing many bright colours that change with movement".
