Details

Insense is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Sensus Cimex from the planet Fac Missio in Pokémon Sky.

Appearance

He is a human-sized insectoid creature with large legs and arms, and two smal arms that curl up to his chest. His head has large goggles and antenna.

Powers and Abilities

He can enhance any of his five senses, sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch. When he enhances one of his senses, the body part regarding this grows, such as extending eyes or larger antenna. This makes him good for recon missions.

Weaknesses

He can only enhance one sense at a time.

His eyes extend automatically if he gets surprised, removing his current enhancements.

Etymology

  • Insense is a combo of “insect“ and “sense”.
  • Sensus Cimex is Latin for “bug sense”.
  • Fac Missio is Latin for “recon mission”.

Trivia

  • Insense’s concept came from one of the monster forms that I imagined myself creating via the My Hero Academia Quirk I think I’d have, Transform. The original concept was a robot, not a bug, and looked quite a bit different, but I already have enough robots in the Pokémon Sky Omnitrix.
