Hank Devon is the chief reporter for Midnight City News on Earth-19. He has worked at the corporation for 20 years since 2006.
Physical appearance[]
Devon is a 51 year-old man, who is fairly short at just 5 feet 6 inches tall. He has short black hair, and in his only appearance, he wore black suit pants, a white suit shirt, a blue tie, and a gray suit jacket. He also wears glasses with black frames.
History[]
Though not named until later in the series, Devon is usually the one reporting or asking questions anytime the Team watches news from Earth. He was confirmed to have been in New York City during the events of July 14, 2014, and later Fort Dume, NY.[1]

After hearing from Johi Ezera that the Plumbers may be involved with a war on The Haven, Devon asks Damian Walker if he was the one who gave the United Nations the press release containing the previous information. Walker simply states that, as the Plumbers have arrived, they should answer for themselves. Devon later adds to the argument between Damian and the Plumbers that it was the latter group's fault for bringing the Aldabarbarians to Earth during the July 4 attack, and also acknowledges that it would make sense for Walker to be secretly running his own police force when the Plumbers accuse him of this.
When Ezera announces that the Plumbers must leave Earth and that he is resigning, Devon is very surprised.[2]

Devon recaps the accusations against the Plumbers and Ezera's resignation for the nightly news. After Emily Porter's story about recent alien activity on Earth, Diamond Soyder goes back to Devon with a breaking news update. Devon then watches as a politician from the United Nations announces that Damian Walker has been elected as the next Secretary-General.
Devon later asks Walker if he is going to let the Plumbers remain on Earth, but Walker says he will answer at a later time.[3]
