Hammerhack is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Carcharphyran from the planet Charchiras, created by SOULARCHER20.

Appearance

Hammerhack takes the form of a bipedal aqua-green hammerhead shark, where his eyes are on the side of his head, alongside 3 gill slits in his neck. He has 3 fingered hands with blades on each arm, and wears a black tank top-like shirt with one large green stripe in the middle, black pants, a green belt where the Omnitrix symbol is located, and green cuffs on his ankles, where he has 3 sharp toes in a colour similar to his teeth. He has 3 black fins with white highlights on his back, running down to his tail.

Personality

Hammerhack has a minor hyperactive side, often looking around in an area for objects to use. He speaks with a British-Cockney accent and tends to end his sentences with "...mmm".

He has a bit of a large appetite.

Powers and Abilities

Hammerhack is completely amphibious, meaning that he can survive both on land and underwater, the latter indicating that he can withstand high water pressure. When underwater, his arms and legs are tucked into his body, giving him a more streamlined appearance.

Hammerhack is capable of swimming at great speeds underwater, where he is capable of moving at speeds of up to 75 to 80 miles per hour by releasing water backwards from his gills akin to a jet. When moving at these speeds, Hammerhack can ram into sea stacks and continue moving without losing any speed, indicating that he has a degree of enhanced durability.

He possesses enhanced strength, as he is capable of dragging an oil tanker with him and is able to capsize it by dragging it downwards. His strength is equivalent to at least 2 Tetramands creating a crater in a mountain. This strength extends to his jaws and head, where he is capable of effortlessly ripping iron bars and pin down a Vaxasaurian for a period of time.

His deadliest weapons are his sharp teeth, claws and fins, which are all capable of doing high amounts of damage and precisely slice underwater crystals. If he loses his teeth, he is able to regenerate it almost instantly, similar to how sharks do in real life. He can also eat solid objects with ease.

As he lacks proper bones, Hammerhack is completely flexible, and is capable of curving in acrobatic positions. He can curl up and spin to attack his enemies, taking the form of a chainsaw/ninja star in the process. He is also capable of detaching his jaw bones, extending his jaws and enables him to store large objects in his mouth.

His skin has denticles, meaning that anything that would attack him could be damaged and scratched by his skin.

Hammerhack possesses enhanced dexterity, enabling him to hold objects and carve statues using his 3 fingered hands.

His hammer-shaped head enhances all his senses, primarily his eyesight. He is also capable of electroreception underwater, enabling him to detect an individual through their electricity and nervous systems. He can even see in the dark.

Hammerhack is extremely intelligent, allowing him to analyse and counteract any problem and situation. He is capable of creating tactics and is able to change strategies on the fly, and can determine mechanical values and physical properties of objects simply by looking at them. This enables him to work his way out of any situation using his surroundings and abilities to his advantage.

With his mechanical expertise and sharpened body, Hammerhack can create complex machines out of simple objects and cut their size down to his liking thanks to his sharp body. He can also utilise any object with the right physical properties and use them to his advantage, such as sealing falling plates using bubblegum. This makes him a master engineer.

Hammerhack is smart enough to unlock several features in the Omnitrix, as proven when he unlocked the Quick-change feature and the Gattling Mode. He is also smart enough to fix it whenever it gets damaged, though his intelligence isn't as high as a Galvan.

Hammerhack can move his head in any direction he wishes, due to his neck being extremely flexible.

Weaknesses

Being amphibious, Hammerhack can survive on land and underwater. However, extreme heat on land can incapacitate him.

Because his senses are heightened, he is more vulnerable to increased stimuli, such as high-pitched sounds and bright lights. Electricity can also knock him out.

Objects that block his gills are able to suffocate him, whether it be on land or underwater.

Hammerhack's large head can be a problem whenever he is in confined locations, such as falling through narrow gaps. He counters this by rotating his head into the right position.

Enemies can grab his tail and use it to throw him around. Similarly, his fins can cause him to be trapped into walls.

Anything that attacks the inside of Hammerhack's mouth causes him great pain, suggesting that it is his weak point.

Despite his enhanced durability, attacks with enough force are able to cause him great pain, due to his bones being softer.

As mentioned above, Hammerhack has a large appetite, causing him to unintentionally eat and gnaw on various objects.

If Hammerhack is too scared, he would be unable to concentrate therefore making it harder for him to fight.

History

• Hammerhack first appeared in Monstermania, where he managed to figure out the Omnitrix's quick-change feature and devise a plan to defeat Dr. Animo. Later, he was used to rebuild Animo's mutation device and revert everyone back to normal.
• In Double Time, Hammerhack analysed the olive liquid before switching to Bombadrag to save Stuart.
• In Just Clowning Around, Hammerhack tried to save Stuart, but was scared by Zombozo's illusions.
• In The Tenth Predator, Hammerhack briefly battled Apex before activating the Omnitrix's Gattling Mode. He later appeared again due to the Gattling Mode to battle Apex.
• In The Pet Parasite, Hammerhack attempted to analyse Lugs' characteristics to learn about it, but was forced to evade the latter's sudden slime spit attacks.
• In Rise of the Sentiknight, Hammerhack was used to help Ben study before switching to Anatacles.
• In Odd Jobs, Hammerhack battled the Splitz clones while figuring out how to acquire more money.
• In Number 11, Hammerhack devised a plan to defeat The Great Devourer, successfully penetrating the latter before transforming into Chicolt.
• In Omni-Switched, Hammerhack's DNA was switched with Anatacles' DNA due to a glitch in the Omnitrix. Hammerhack was then used to battle the Clocktopus with Anatacles' powers. At the end of the episode, due to Anatacles using Hammerhack's intelligence to fix the Omnitrix, their DNA gets reverted back to normal.
• In Monsters of a Man's Past, Hammerhack hacked into A.I.R.'s data banks.
• In The Deep Blue, Hammerhack defeated the A.I.R. ocean division by capsizing their ship.
• In The Hunter Games, Hammerhack battled Xon, but was defeated when he turned into Parabite. He did, however, manage to figure out a plan to defeat the latter.
• In Sharpest Lives, Hammerhack battled Biicurn's thugs, including Resh.

Etymology

Hammerhack is a combination of the words "Hammerhead"(referring to his appearance) and "Hack" (refering to his cutting abilities, as well as usage of life-hacks).

Trivia

• Hammerhack acts as Ben's replacement for Ripjaws, though his aquatic physiology and enhanced intelligence makes him a suitable substitute for Brainstorm as well.
• His cutting and slicing abilities, alongside his high speed propulsion and shark appearance are inspired by the Thresher slug from Slugterra and Sharpedo from Pokemon.
• Hammerhack is the first alien used by Ben to debut in an alternate form instead of his base form.
• His bones are made from cartilage, making his head lighter. Sometimes, he flies a small distance whenever he turns his head.
• Multiple sharks were used as a reference for Hammerhack and his abilities, including:
  • Great Hammerhead Shark: For his overall design.
  • Mako Shark: For his enhanced swimming speed.
  • Megamouth Shark: For his ability to open his mouth extremely wide.
  • Tiger Shark: For his appetite and habit of eating random items.
  • Bull Shark: For his ramming attack.
• Despite having good fighting qualities, Ben uses Hammerhack just for his brains. This is because Hammerhack is Ben's smartest alien in his current playlist.
