Gutrot is an alien used by Ben Tennyson using the Unlimited Omnitrix. He appears in Ben 10: Beyond Bellwood and originates from the Earth-CDXI.411 universe.
Appearance[]
Gutrot is a rough-skinned humanoid alien mostly hidden beneath a black and white containment suit. He is covered in metal nozzles from which his chemicals can expel. There is a large window into his stomach area where his chemicals are produced. The Omnitrix symbol covers his mouth area.
Powers and Abilities[]
Gutrot is a walking chemistry lab. He can concoct a wide variety of chemicals within the chamber in his stomach and expels these chemicals in a gaseous form through the nozzles all about his body.
Chemicals Gutrot has been shown to utilise include;
- Chlorine Gas- An extremely dangerous gas that burns skin and destroys lungs.
- Magnesium Carbonate- Used as an antacid. Can neutralise stomach acids.
- Nitrous Oxide- Useful as a anaesthetic and as a component in rocket fuel.
Gutrot is an alien with enhanced intelligence. He specialises in chemistry, but is all around smarter than Ben. Ben himself is very bad at chemistry, so he is almost solely reliant on this alien for questions in that field.
Weaknesses[]
Gutrot's abilities would be useless, if not dangerous, in a vacuum or in strong winds.
History[]
Gutrot first appeared and named himself in The Genocide Gene. Ben had intended to use Upgrade but accidentally became Gutrot. He quickly realised what he could do and helped create Nitrous Oxide in order to complete the Doctor's Anti-Dalek bioweapon. He instantly recognised that she was creating a virus that would only target the Daleks.
Ben used Gutrot again in Prodigy when he needed to be able to think through how the Flesh was invading the Last Chance Oasis. He fought the Protost Blisters before leaving with ZeroZero to attempt to move the Oasis into a universe. Amalgamax also used Gutrot in this episode, forming a gas mask over his face to protect him the other Gutrot's chlorine gas.
