Gigobite is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Gipodomae from the planet Storraghe, created by SOULARCHER20.

Appearance

Gigobite's overall appearance resembles a mustard yellow hippo with green eyes with black outlines and pupils, as well as lightning bolt shaped nostrils. He has a black body with the exception of his green back, which has a seafoam greencircuitboard texture connecting four round sockets on his back, creating a T-shaped formation when viewed from above. He has four mustard yellow legs each with 3 seafoam green toes surrounded by a green band. The inside of his mouth is seafoam green with a maron tongue, and his 4 teeth take the form of gold plugs. The Omnitrix symbol is embedded in the flesh of his chin.

Powers and Abilities

Gigobite is a living hard drive, allowing him to store multiple objects inside his body. This is done by converting anything that enters his mouth into data, which is then stored in his body. He has an extremely large storage capacity, and can store extremely large objects inside of him due to them being forms of data.

Gigobite is capable of keeping anything inside his body, unable to escape due to being simple data strands, enabling him to transport them over large distances. If the Gigobite turns back into Ben, then all the previously stored objects will remain inside of Gigobite until Ben turns into Gigobite again.

Gigobite is capable of ejecting his stored objects out of the points of his back, returning them to the state they were in before being converted into data. He can change the force of how he ejects his stored objects, ranging from simply dropping them to the point where they become ammunition for him. Living beings that are stored claim the experience feels like sleeping, but digital activities such as computer file transfers will continue inside of Gigobite.

By closing his mouth while converting an object into data, Gigobite can sever the connection between an object as the section in his mouth will be converted into data while the other half would return to normal but damaged, making Gigobite a dangerous fighter.

Despite his immense size, Gigobite is actually quite fast, capable of ramming into enemies at a high speed. He is also capable of standing on a few legs for a limited amount of time. He can also hold his entire body with one front leg, indicating that he has a degree of enhanced strength.

Gigobite is durable enough to withstand falling rubble, as well as resist blaster fire. He is also resistant to extreme temperatures, and can survive in the vacuum of space due to being a semi-electrical being.

Despite his 3 fat toes, Gigobite is capable of holding a gold bar tightly, indicating that he has a degree of enhanced dexterity.

Gigobite has enhanced swimming abilities and can hold his breathe underwater for a long period of time, much like an actual hippo. He can also propel himself underwater by swallowing a large amount of water and expelling it backwards through the points on his back. This makes Gigobite faster underwater than he is on land, and can even walk through electricity as if it were water.

Gigobite has enhanced senses, making him a good tracker whether on land or underwater. He also possesses good reflexes and agility, as he can surprise incoming enemies by trapping them in his mouth, despite his large size.

Although he has not trained himself to do so, Gigobite is capable of using the data stored within himself to generate a small electrical field on his skin, which acts as a minor form of body armor and suntan lotion.

Weaknesses

Gigobite's size makes him a larger target to enemy attacks. He can also get stuck in small spaces.

Gigobite is vulnerable to a variety of attacks, indicating his durability has a limit. He is also unable to keep up with high speed attacks that avoid his mouth.

As his his mouth is his primary weapon, he would be more vulnerable if it were sealed shut. Similarly, Gigobite's holes can be blocked, preventing him from ejecting his stored objects, and can easily be tripped due to his legs and bodysize.

There is a limit to how much Gigobite can store within himself, as having to may objects in him seemingly makes him full, as well as makes him slower since it increases his body weight. Fortunately, it can take a while to reach this limit due to Gigobite's seemingly infinite storage capacity.

Being one of Ben's newer aliens, Gigobite can only eject the objects he had eaten in a chronological order. For example, if Gigobite were to eat a tree first and then a rock, he would only be able to eject the tree first before the rock, which can slow down himself should he need to eject specific items.

History

• Gigobite first appeared in More Than You Can Chew, where he was unlocked and tried to battle Glueface, but accidentally trapped Stuart in him. Because of this, Gigobite tried to release Stuart, but was reverted before he could, causing Ben to try and turn into Gigobite throughout the episode. Ben eventually succeeds later, allowing him to free Stuart and defeat Glueface.
• In 23 Watches, Gigobite helped Techno-Mouth capture the Violent Offendors before subsequently ejecting them and turning into Transmelt.
• In Monsters of a Man's Past, Gigobite helped carry the A.I.R. data files. Later, Gigobite was shown ejecting the fully transferred files.
• In Pedal to the Metal, Gigobite captured Flytrap.
• In The Deep Blue, Gigobite battled Maurice before chasing him down.
• In The Hunter Games, Gigobite helped Stuart escape from Terrair.
• In One Big Omni Family, Gigobite acquired sentience after an A.I.R. device affected the Omnitrix. He was part of the scouting squad used to look for The Darhkness 3, where he stored data on them inside of him, and eventually aided in the battle at the A.I.R. base. He was then readded to the Omnitrix after being scanned by Ben.
• In Prom Night, Gigobite battled some thugs while discussing his date with Tessa with Stuart.

Etymology

Gigobite's name is a pun on Gigabyte, a large storage capacity of data (referencing his storage abilities), and "Bite" (referencing the primary execution of his powers.

Trivia

• Gigobite's name was originally Gigabite, but was changed due to SOULARCHER20 finding another alien having the name already.
  • His name is similar to a card from Yu-Gi-Oh!, where they both coincidentally have green traits around their body.
• Gigobite's overall appearance resembles Hippowdon from Pokemon.
  • SOULARCHER20 created Gigobite after acquiring an idea where Spitter should have an Omnitrix symbol on his chin, as well as a hard drive.
  • Gigobite's original design lacked pupils.
• Technically, Gigobite is the first alien to be unlocked by Stuart, albeit accidentally.
• Gigobite is constantly eating air, as it always enters his mouth when he speaks. This gives him a static sounding voice.
• Whenever Gigobite opens his mouth, a data cloud is shown inside it.
