Gemini, who also goes by Elise or Elijah, is a member of the Zodiac Organization in Star Spirit Imaginate.
History[]
Gemini suffered severe abuse as a child that left them blind and traumatized, with the latter eventually resulting in the development of dissociative identity disorder.
Elise, the female "host", and Elijah, the male "alter", found their life severely affected by this, with large gaps of missing time for each identity and uncontrollable switching leaving them largely unable to function in society.
At some point, Gemini was taken in by Orion, becoming a key member of the Zodiac Organization. They received a transfusion with the DNA of a Geminkai, allowing the personalities to exist side-by-side, each controlling half of their shared body.
Personality[]
Elise controls the right side of the body and is the more reserved out of the two personalities, quietly observing the events that play out in front of them and devising calculated ways to handle dangerous situations.
Elijah, controlling the left side of the body, is much more impulsive than Elise, having a much more cynical and outspoken approach to situations. Despite this, he is usually willing to compromise with Elise, recognizing the importance of maintaining a functioning relationship while sharing a body.

Aries[]
Aries' attentive and protective nature makes her perfectly suited as Gemini's partner in the Zodiac Organization, with her stepping in to calmly resolve feuds on the rare occasions that Elise and Elijah can't reach a compromise. She helps keep Gemini focused and on-track, while Gemini's deliberation skills help keep Aries grounded if she becomes too worked up over something.
Abilities[]
With the powers of a Geminkai, Gemini has power over the four classical elements, albeit in a bisected form. Elise controls air and water, while Elijah controls fire and earth.
Being blind, Gemini "sees" by using their connection to the elements to detect changes in their environment.
Most puzzlingly, as a result of their alien DNA, Gemini is neither dead nor alive, existing in a half-immortal state that leaves them able to perceive and walk in the realms of both the living and the dead.

- Unlike their original counterpart, this incarnation of Gemini is one person with two personalities as opposed to being literal twins.
- Being two personalities in one body, Gemini is referred to with "they" pronouns for the most part, although each personality is occasionally referred to by their own gender.
