Gamvalve is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Dencean from Undella.
Appearance[]
Gamvalve resembles a giant bivalve clam with a white head and green eyes. He has a single blue horn poking above his head, and 6 smaller ones surrounding his black shell. Hourglass caricatures are seen throughout the shell. Aside from his head, he is flowing with green energy on the inside.
The Omnitrix symbol is mounted above his eyes.
Powers and Abilities[]
Gamvalve has the power to fire off his spikes and regrow them quickly. The spikes are rather powerful, able to defeat a Transylian, Orishan and Vaxasaurian if fired in rapid succession.
Gamvalve can use his internal energy to power up his needles or anyone he touches, enhancing their abilities to superhuman levels.
In addition to firing off his spikes, Gamvalve can fight with them like a bowstaff, and is rather skilled at it.
Gamvalve's shell is nigh-invulnerable, able to withstand a Tetramand's punches, a Prypiatosian-B's nuclear energy attacks and even being bitten by Bashmouth's metal jaws. By closing in it, he gains Cannonbolt like speed and agility, using electromagnetic pulses to find his way.
While he hasn't trained himself to do so, he can generate pearls to store energy for later use, blast air out his rear to propel himself forward and attack with his electricity directly. He is also capable of breathing underwater and (with his shell closed to contain an air supply) space, in addition to withdrawing his spikes.
Weaknessess[]
Gamvalve's energy can be absorbed by an Osmosian and render him incapacitated temporarily, though he can always recharge.
There is a time limit to how long his energy boost will last, and will immediately deactivate once he times out.
His needles are rather weak and can be easily shattered. His head is also rather vulnerable to attack.
He can accidentally power up his enemies.
If his EMP field is interfered with, he can lose his directionality in sphere form.
Being a Dencean, he is vulnerable to a Zappler Crab, his natural predator.
Trivia[]
- His powers are based on Marvel's Gambit.
- His Bivalve appearance was a spoof on Cloyster to avoid making yet another humanoid alien.
