Freezing Memories is the sixth episode of Draconomenal.
Synopsis[]
Wanting to discover the secrets of his powers, Blake encounters an old friend from his childhood that might be the key to them. Meanwhile, an Alien comes to Earth for vengeance against Jay.
Plot[]
[Somewhere in space, outside of Earth, Drekkon’s ship is standing still while inside of it, Shocker is sitting on his chair with an impatient expression. His body is now shown: His body is muscular and colored in gray, with a purple scar on his left forearm, another one on his right arm and a X-shaped scar on his torso. He has metallic red fingerless gauntlet, he wears a red sleeveless vest, blue pants with a metallic red belt with its front having a pentagon, red shoes, his eyes are green and round, the conductors on his back are golden, he has two red bolts on each shoulder and his hair is black. He’s tapping his fingers on his table, which draw the attention of Crys, who’s body is also shown: He wears a white suit, which is composed of white shoulder pads, blue arms, white gloves, belt, knee pads and boots. The torso is black with a blue circle in the center, he has two crystal shards on his back, with they and his head being pale green diamonds with his head being sharp and his eyes are yellow).
Crys: You seem impatient Shocker, something wrong?
Shocker: Everything. No matter how many robots I sent, the Dracotrix’s user always destroy them! I even upgrade them and even with that, they are destroyed!
Crys: Ok, you need to calm down – Shocker grabs Dia by the collar on his suit.
Shocker: You don’t tell me to calm down! No matter what I do, my robots won’t beat the Dracotrix’s user! – Suddenly, his body starts to fly and he throws himself into the wall, falling on the ship’s floor.
Crys: ….I didn’t know you could fly.
Shocker: I can’t – He hears someone laughing and something comes out of his body, revealed to be Necros, her body is indigo and she resembles a ghost, claw-like hands, a tail in place of her legs, black lines across her body and a big purple eye with a black pupil – Wow that was soo funny – He said with a sarcastic tone.
Necros: Oh come on you know it was funny.
Shocker: You know what’s funny? – He shoot purple electricity towards Necros, who turns her body tangible and the electricity passes through her body, hitting the ceiling.
Necros: Shocking isn’t it? – Crys tries not to laugh.
Shocker: God I hate you – A door opens and Drakkon appears.
Drakkon: Ok what is going on here?
Necros: Oh you know, the usual of Shocker being angry at everything – Drakkon looks at Shocker with a confused expression.
Crys: She meant that Shocker is angry because no matter how many robots he sent, the Dracotrix user always defeat them.
Drakkon: Now that you mention it, I noticed that he was pretty angry than the usual. I think I got an idea, Shocker if you want, you could go to Earth and deal with the Dracotrix user if that make you feel better.
Shocker: Wait really? I can? – He jumps on the air with happiness – Oh I’m gonna make it pay for destroying my precious robots!
Necros: Your precious robots? Didn’t you and Crys built them together?
Shocker: Just let me have this moment okay?!
Necros: Also how are you gonna go to Earth?
Crys: You do realize we have a teleporter right?
Necros: Oh yeah we have.
Shocker: Alright, I’m gonna go, see ya! – He enters through a door and he enters a capsule, pressing a button inside of it and his body glows in white, vanishing. Meanwhile on Earth, Jay, who’s transformed into TaurusKnight, alongside Kira and Blake are fighting against some robots from Dimension 12, who are being lead by Fistrick, who escaped prison and is using the same armor the used against Jay when they first fought. The robots shoot blue lasers at the trio, but TaurusKnight creates a barrier made of green crystal, protecting them from the attacks.
Blake: Gotta say, I was not expecting our day to start like this – He slashes the air and sends an air slash at one of the robots, decapitating it and it explodes.
TaurusKnight: Who was expecting to be honest? How the hell did you escaped dude? – The armor punches the barrier twice, breaking it and it grabs TaurusKnight by his horns, tossing him to the air.
Fistrick: We can say I have some connections bro – The armor opens and Fistrick shoots a red laser from his metallic eye at TaurusKnight, hitting him in the back and he falls on the ground. Kira dodges a red laser.
Kira: Oh you mean Captain jackass? – She dodges another laser and it’s revealed to be Captain Nemesis.
Fistrick: I’ll say Nemesis, thanks for helping me escape that place – TaurusKnight punches the armor.
Captain Nemesis: I only help you because I wanted help in getting revenge against Jay!
TaurusKnight: You’re still angry after I prove that you are a bad guy? Get over it dude.
Captain Nemesis: Shut up! If it wasn’t for you, people would still call me the hero! – Kira slashes Nemesis with her staff, electrocuting him a little while Blake dodges a laser coming from the robots and he changes the sword to Gun Mode, shooting air bullets at them and destroying some of them.
Blake: Look it isn’t our fault if you were faking your heroic acts!
Fistrick: Nah, it was really your fault.
TaurusKnight: Oh shut up Kano wannabe – He shoots a green energy blast from his right hand at the armor, who is sent away and it turns into crystal, hitting some robots and destroying them. Kira kicks Nemesis and when she was about to hit him again, he punches her on the face, sending her to the ground. Nemesis points his right hand at Kira with a red glow coming from it.
Blake: Kira no! – Blake extends his left arm and a cyan beam is shoot at Nemesis, freezing his right hand. TaurusKnight and Kira saw that and are with shocked expressions.
Kira: Before asking – She gets up and attacks Nemesis with her staff. Firstly she slashes him horizontally, she slashes him again and jumps, hitting him on the head and electrocuting and knocking him out – Now I can ask, since when you can shoot ice from your hands?!
Blake: You think I know? The other day when we were fighting Vulkanus’ minions I touched one of them and ice appeared.
TaurusKnight: Let me just finish this – He creates a crystal sword and slashes the robots, destroying all of them and he punches the crystalized Fistrick’s armor, breaking the armor and knocking out Fistrick. His body glows in red and he turns back to normal.
Jay: For some reason you can generate ice from your arms. Are you the lost child of Iceman?
Blake: I don’t know, I didn’t even know I could shoot ice.
Kira: What if you one of your parents was an Alien?
Blake: That isn’t possible, I know my parents my entire life and I never saw them at least bleed a different type of blood.
Kira: Wait what?
Jay: He meant that Aliens usually at least have a different color for their blood for example, I guess some have blue blood.
Blake: So we have no idea how I can shoot ice from my hands – He looks at his right hand – Why I have the feeling something happened to my DNA?
Kira: What if you are the descendent of the Cryomancers? – The two boys stare at her with confusion.
Jay: You think Blake is Sub-Zero? He isn’t capable of killing someone without trying to flirt with them.
Blake: What he said – He realizes what Jay said – Oh you son of a b*tch.
Jay: What? The first time we met you, you tried to flirt with Kira.
Kira: You can’t argue with that you know?
Blake: Oh shut up – He sighs – We just need to figure it out why the hell I can shoot ice – They hear some loud noises and look to the sky, seeing what appears to be a blue ship falling to the forest near the city – And now a ship appeared.
Jay: Should we check what was that?
Kira: Maybe, I mean one of the few good Aliens we met was Lightning.
Blake: Who?
Kira: Short story, he’s a speedy Alien who was captured by Fistrick.
Blake: You mean the Kano wannabe?
Kira: Yep and if that ship has a good Alien, then I guess we should check it out.
Jay: Then let’s go – The trio runs to the forest and they see smoke on the air. Some time later, they arrived and they see the ship, who is a little damage and a door opens, with a humanoid silhouette wrapped in a hooded robe walking from it and it falls on the ground.
Kira: Wow! – Kira runs to the figure and she grabs it by its arm, with it’s black – Hey are you okay? – The figure’s head lifts, revealing to be black with blue cheeks, an underjaw with bluish-white teeth and and a blue Y-shaped marking on top of his head that extends over his scalp.
Blake: I think it’s an Alien.
Jay: It’s pretty obvious, but it’s best to say – The Alien open its eyes, revealed to be large and red with dark red spots. The Alien then looks at Jay and Blake.
Alien: It’s you, it’s really you…. Blake – It falls unconscious, but Kira quickly grabs it.
Jay: Did he said your name? Do you know this Alien?
Blake: No, but for some reason it seems familiar to me – The trio hears some noises and they see a column of white light appear near the forest, appearing from it Shocker – What the?
Kira: That’s an Alien right?
Blake: I guess so – Blake sees that Shocker is with some kind of locator and he turns to them, spotting the Dracotrix – Uhh guys, he’s looking at us.
Jay: Wait – Jay’s eyes widened – I think he’s after the watch! – Purple electricity appears on Shocker’s conductors and he shoots an electric beam at the Jay, but he quickly dodges the beam – Grab the Alien and run, I’ll take care of this guy.
Kira: Got it! Come on Blake! – Blake nods and the two grab the Alien, then they run away while Jay presses the button of the watch, with the core popping up and he dials to Generator’s hologram. Then he slams the core, glowing in a cyan light and instead of Generator, he transforms into Beetlezure.
Beetlezure: Ok this is the second time that this happens and I don’t understand why, it’s like the watch doesn’t want me to turn into the Alien I want. Ah forget it – His back opens and the wings appears, then he flies towards Shocker and he dodges the electric beams, counter attacking with an energy ball that almost hits Shocker, but he slaps the ball away and he grabs Beetlezure by his horn, slamming him into some trees and slams him on the ground.
Shocker: So you’re the one who’s destroying my precious creations?!
Beetlezure: Precious creations? Wait, you mean those robots? – Shocker punches Beetlezure on the face and the beetle Alien knees Shocker on the stomach and hits him with his horn – So you’re the one who was sending those things to get the watch!
Shocker: Watch? You mean the Dracotrix?
Beetlezure: Draco what?
Shocker: Of course you wouldn’t know the name – He points to the Dracotrix’s symbol in Beetlezure’s belt – That’s the Dracotrix, a powerful weapon that you shouldn’t have it! Now if you give me the Dracotrix, I won’t need to kill you.
Beetlezure: I don’t know why you want this thing, but over my dead body Frankenstein! – Beetlezure punches Shocker on the face, who punches Beetlezure in the face with an electric punch and he grabs him by the horn – Not this time! – Beetlezure shoots an energy blast from his horn at Shocker, sending him towards a tree.
Shocker: I hate to admit, but he’s pretty good with the Dracotrix, but I still want my revenge – He gets up and grabs the tree behind him, pulling it from the trunk and he hits Beetlezure, sending him away and then shoots an electric beam, electrocuting the beetle Alien who falls on the ground rolling. Shocker runs towards him and punches him, sending him away. Meanwhile with Blake and Kira, the two stop after hearing noises from the forest.
Blake: I think Jay is in trouble against that guy.
Kira: Then I’ll go help him.
Alien: No – The Alien, who had woke up, take Kira and Blake’s arms off him – I’ll go help your friend – His robe opens, changing into four wings with a pair of antennas and it’s possible to see more of his body. His arms, shoulders, legs, the back of his wings and of his neck are cyan and resembles ice chunks, with each patch having hick blue outlining except for the ones on his wings, which are outlined in black, a black line that runs on the edge of the outer margin on the back of each wing and his torso has three blue plates: One resembling the chest, a shorter plate under the chest, and one resembling the stomach. The Alien then flies towards the forest with Kira and Blake following him and after arriving, they see Beetlezure being electrocuted by an electric beam from Shocker and before he could attack again, the Alien breaths a cyan wind from his mouth at Shocker’s legs, who frozen in an instant.
Shocker: What the?! – He sees his frozen legs and being distracted, giving a chance to Beetlezure to counterattack, shooting an energy beam at Shocker that sends him away, breaking the ice on his legs and he falls on the ground unconscious. The Dracotrix’s symbol starts to blink in red.
Beetlezure: Oh good, just in time – Beetlezure glows in red, turning back to normal and he stretches himself.
Jay: Man glad I knockout the Frankenstein – The Alien’s wings turns back into the robes and he lands on the ground, with Kira and Blake walking to him – Hey thanks for helping.
Kira: That was amazing.
Alien: Glad I helped your friend.
Blake: Soo you know me?
Alien: Of course I know you, you might don’t remember me, it was a long time ago since we last met.
Jay: Before you start explaining everything, let’s go to my house so people won’t freak out because, you know.
Alien: Make sense, then lead us.
Jay: Just follow me – The others follow Jay to his house and they arrive, with Alpha greeting them and Jay taking his jacket off.
Alpha: Oh hey it’s Jay and his friends, but who are you?
Alien: Oh yeah I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Kryos.
Jay: Well I’m Jay, she is Kira, you already know Blake and he’s Alpha. Hey where’s Azrael and Runner?
Alpha: Azrael is taking Runner to a walk.
Kira: I’m wondering how are they doing – The scene changes to Azrael is chasing Runner, who is laughing while running – Anyway, could you explain how you know Blake?
Kryos: Of course. From what I remember – The scene changes to a kid Kryos, who is smaller and his eyes are larger, is shown that he’s on a forest with and he’s injured – I was alone on a forest on Earth and I was injured. I thought I was done for because nobody was there to help me. Until he arrived.
Jay: You mean-
Kryos: Yes, Blake, he arrived – A kid Blake, who is wearing a white shirt, blue shorts, black sneakers and he’s without the white streak on his hair, he’s running on the forest when he sees Kryos.
Kid Blake: Hey are you okay?
Kid Kryos: Help – He falls on the ground unconscious and the scene becomes black. Then his eyes open, showing Blake, alongside his family, helping him by putting bandages on his injures.
Kryos: Blake and his family, even thought they had no idea I was an Alien, they helped me and I survived thanks to they.
Kira: So why were you in Earth?
Kryos: From what my parents told me when they arrived some days later, I was stolen from my planet by some strange Aliens. Anyway, while my parents didn’t arrived, Blake’s parents decided to let me stay with them for a while and I basically became Blake’s brother – The scene then changes back to the present.
Blake: Oh, now I remember you. Sorry if I couldn’t remember, it was a long time ago.
Kryos: It’s okay.
Kira: Then how that explain why Blake have ice powers?
Kryos: Wait what?
Alpha: First, it’s good that Blake helped you. Second, what you mean Kira?
Blake: During the fight against Fistrick and Captain Nemesis, I shot an ice beam from my hand at Nemesis when he was about to attack Kira. Maybe something’s wrong with my DNA or something.
Kryos: I think I know why. Blake, do you remember that time where you got severely injured after an accident where you lost too much blood?
Blake: I think so, but could you explain?
Kryos: Of course – The scene changes back to the past, showing kids Blake and Kryos, with Blake climbing a tree with Kryos flying after him.
Kid Kryos: Are you sure this is a good idea Blake?
Kid Blake: Oh come on, this is the best idea I had! – Blake climbs the tree and sits on the trunk, smiling while Kryos is flying – Victory!
Kid Kryos: Ok, at least you’re safe.
Kid Blake: Don’t worry, if I fall you can catch me – Kryos sees the trunk is breaking and Blake suddenly falls from it, but Kryos quickly grabs him and lands on the ground safely.
Kid Kryos: It’s a good thing I catched you, imagine if you got hurt.
Kid Blake: But I didn’t, and that’s a good thing – Blake looks to the trunk and it breaks, falling towards Kryos. Blake then pushes Kryos away and the trunk hit his left arm, impaling itself on it and Blake screams in pain with blood flying from the impact. Kryos’s eyes widened in shock and he grabs Blake, flying towards his family, who saw the trunk impaled in Blake’s arm and trying to help him. The scene changes back to the present.
Blake: Now I remember, that day after my arm got impaled by that trunk, I lost some blood.
Kryos: And to save you, I gave some of my blood and you were able to survive that day.
Kira: Now everything make sense. Maybe because of Kryos giving you some of his blood, it’s like his DNA got mixed with your DNA and it gave you these powers – Kira looks at Jay, who has a confused expression – Are you okay dude?
Jay: I’m trying to figure it out how this works. This is more confusing them trying to understand the powers of the Science Side in Toaru.
Kira: Not really, some are easy to understand, but you’re right.
Jay: But I think now I understand why Blake can manipulate ice. Now that’s done, I’ve got a bad feeling.
Blake: About what?
Jay: I don’t think that Frankenstein Alien gave up on getting the watch – He says while pointing to the Dracotrix – So we better find him and give him a lesson.
Kira: Are you planning on killing him?
Jay: You seriously think I’m gonna do that? Even I wouldn’t go that far just to defeat a bad guy. We just need to teach him a lesson and maybe something good happens?
Alpha: Jay could you explain that?
Jay: In short, a Frankenstein Alien appeared out of nowhere and now he’s trying to kill me to get his hands on the watch, also this thing has a name, it’s called the Dracotrix.
Kira: Dracotrix? That’s an odd name for this.
Blake: You do realize Jay has a dragon Alien right?
Jay: And funny thing, Dracozzard was my first Alien sooo…
Kira: That explains something, I guess. Anyway, let’s kick his ass!
Blake: Hey Kryos, would you like to help?
Kryos: Sure, it would be nice to help you and your friends.
Alpha: Then good luck to you all.
Jay: Thanks dude – Jay picks his jacket and the group leaves the house, looking for Shocker.
Kira: Maybe he’s still in the forest – The group follows Kira to the forest and after arriving, they don’t find Shocker anywhere – Well, I guess he escaped.
Kryos: I have the feeling that he didn’t escaped, but maybe – Kryos is interrupted by a purple electric beam that hits him from the back, electrocuting him and surprising the group. Kira spots Shocker behind Kryos.
Kira: I guess he found us.
Blake: Hey you attacked him from behind, no fair!
Shocker: You think I give a crap about fairness? I just want to get my revenge on the blue-haired idiot for destroying my creations! – He says while pointing at Jay.
Jay: Uhh actually my hair is navy, there’s a difference – Shocker just stare at him – Right, you don’t care about that – Kira and Blake pick their weapons and prepare to fight while Jay dials the Dracotrix, stopping on the hologram of a humanoid Spinosaurus – Ok, let’s do it! – Jay slams his hand on the Dracotrix, glowing in a cyan light.
[In a blue background, a navy tail grows on Jay’s backside and his body also starts to grow. He loses two fingers on his feet and hands, with the three that are left becoming sharp claws, his head starts to change and it turns into a Spinosaurus’s head, with the teeth coming out of the mouth, a yellow lightning bolt appears on the middle of his chest, two water drops appear on each chest and he roars, ending the transformation]
The light disappears and Blake, Kira and Shocker look at Jay’s new form, with a lighting bolt appearing from the sky and hitting from behind Jay.
Jay: Cool I became a Spinosaurus! Alright you Frankenstein, time to feel the pain that the T-Rex from Jurassic Park lll felt when it was killed by the Spinosaurus! Charge! – The trio charges towards Shocker, who punches the ground and electricity travels through the ground towards the group, who jump, with Blake shooting air bullets at Shocker, who flinches with some of them and Kira kicks him on the face. Jay falls and tries to bite Shocker, who dodges the attack and punches Jay on the face twice, and before he could punch him again, Jay opens his mouth and from it, he shoots a water blast with electricity at Shocker, who gets hit by it and is pushed a little far away.
Blake: Did you just shoot a water blast with electricity? That’s weird.
Jay: I know, and awesome at the same time. I need a name for this guy.
Blake: What you’re gonna call him, AquaThunder?
Jay: Thanks for the idea, this one is AquaThunder!
Blake: Wait that wasn’t intentional I was just joking!
AquaThunder: Too late I will use the name.
Kira: Can you two stop and kick that guy’s ass?
AquaThunder and Blake: Oh, sorry.
Kira: Oh don’t worry – The trio charges and start attacking Shocker, with AquaThunder trying to slap him with his tail, but he dodges and shoots electricity at AquaThunder, who dodges it and shoots another water electric blast from his mouth at Shocker, who also dodges the attack. Blake and Kira slashes him from behind and before they could attack again, Shocker grabs their hands from behind and electrocute them, making them fall on the ground. While he and AquaThunder fight, Kryos wakes up and see them fighting, with his robe opening and he flies to help them, arriving with a double flying knee towards Shocker, who blocks the attack but is pushed a little away.
AquaThunder: I guess you want some payback.
Kryos: Oh I really want one – The two charge forward and double punch Shocker, who defend by grabbing both fists with his hands and electricity starts appearing – Not this time! – Kryos breaths an icy wind at Shocker’s face that don’t freeze him, but it distracts him that make him release their hands, and AquaThunder uses this as a chance and when he stomps on the ground, a tidal wave appears, surprising the dinosaur Alien.
AquaThunder: It’s surfing time – He jumps on the tidal wave and it charge towards Shocker – Cowabunga dudes! – The wave hits Shocker and AquaThunder jumps, shooting an electric water beam at the tidal wave, electrocuting Shocker and he’s launched away, with AquaThunder landing on the ground. Kira and Blake wake up and they join AquaThunder and Kryos.
Kira: Gotta say, this guy sure Is strong.
Blake: Hey Jay, is he wet?
AquaThunder: Well he was hit by a tidal wave, so yeah, why?
Blake: I wanna test something – Shocker gets up and charges forward, with an angry expression. Blake takes a deep breath and puts his hand forward, shooting a cyan beam at Shocker, who is frozen and turned into an ice cube – Cool.
AquaThunder: Man that was tough, this one sure was different from the others we fought – The Dracotrix’s symbol starts to blink and AquaThunder glows in a red light, turning back to Jay.
Jay: And this guy was after this. You think others will come to get the watch?
Kira: We don’t know, but we’ll be prepared in case others come – Blake walks to the frozen Shocker.
Blake: So what we do with this guy? I mean, we can’t just leave this around right? – Before Jay could say anything, a column of light appears on Shocker and he disappears – Nevermind, I guess he disappeared.
Kira: Wonder where he went – The scene changes to Drakkon’s ship, with the frozen Shocker appearing inside teleporter that was activated by Crys.
Crys: Oh, he was frozen.
Necros: Really? I thought he was burned! - She says in a sarcastic tone.
Crys: Anyway, what we do with him?
Drakkon: Don’t worry, I got this – He opens his mouth and breaths fire at the frozen Shocker, melting the ice and releasing Shocker.
Shocker: So that’s the feeling of being frozen alive.
Necros: How you’re feeling buddy?
Shocker: Angry, but I’m a little calmed after fighting against the Dracotrix user. He was good, especially because he used a Kabutian and Biribirian.
Drakkon: Hmmm, it appears he might be an obstacle to our path in gaining the Dracotrix. Alright everyone, we’ll prepare ourselves for the next battle.
Necros: Oh yeah!
Drakkon: One day we will meet again Dracotrix user.
