Fired Up is the third episode of the first season of Ben 10: Omniorigins, as well as the third episode of the series.
Plot[]
Ben and Stuart are playing a video game in Ben's apartment, and Stuart questions Ben how he got the game so early as its release date isn't until next week. Ben reluctantly decides to tell Stuart the story, since he said "it's sorta bad". He then explains how he was checking out the Omnitrix's capabilities in helping him in simple tasks and turned into Constrictaconda, where he used his stretchy tentacles as a violin.
Unfortunately, Constrictaconda's struck his string too strong, causing him to accidentally get launched out of the apartment and land in a truck. As he got out, Constrictaconda realises a game attached to him, and looks for the truck again. That game is then revealed to be the same game Ben and Stuart were playing, angering the latter at how Ben stole the game. The two begin to argue about how Ben's using the Omnitrix irresponsibly, only to be interrupted by the sound of police sirens wailing.
The two look out the window and see the police chasing a red van, where one of its passengers fires at the police. Ben begins to activate the Omnitrix, only for Stuart to remind him that he needs to think before he acts, yet he simply ignores Stuart. Ben transforms into Powerpipe and chases after the red van, while Stuart runs out of the apartment after him. As Powerpipe runs towards the vehicle, he easily deflects the bullets shot by the men in the van, and rams into the van at full speed.
The van crashes into a wall, and Powerpipe proudly binds the men just as the police arrive, though they aim their guns at a confused Powerpipe. Not wanting to fight, Powerpipe runs away after disarming the policemen, finding Stuart and hiding him in an alley before changing back. Ben explains his annoyance at the cop's ungrateful attitude before Stuart shows him the reason why, pointing at the destruction Powerpipe inadvertently caused, and reprimands Ben for acting recklessly. Ben is annoyed at Stuart's lectures and leaves, claiming that he'll be a hero his way.
Later, the police are busy arresting the two men only for an explosion to suddenly occur, enabling the two men to escape. A man in red suddenly enters the van and acquires a device, attaching it to his suit. The police hold him at gunpoint, only for the man to introduce himself as Master Melt, causing the policemen's guns to explode. The explosion is heard by Ben, who then rushes to the scene, where Master Melt and the two men were busy stealing devices from the van. Dialling an alien, Ben suddenly remembers Stuart's advise, but ignores it and transforms into Meltter, who is surprised at how he is accidentally melting the floor.
The light alerts Master Melt, who is amazed to see Meltter, who is accidentally struggling with his body melting everything he touches. As he begins to attack Master Melt, he discovers he is unable to move, and Master Melt reveals that he can control heat and move it telekineticly, shocking Meltter. In the Fictioverse, Stuart is angrily stacking comic books before being alerted about the panic outside, and goes to see a large flamethrower device engulfing buildings in flames. Stuart then sees Meltter and realises he is Ben after seeing the Omnitrix symbol on him, where the latter is being forcefully controlled by Master Melt to melt buildings.
Realising Ben's in trouble, Stuart runs to an abandoned fire truck, where he aims its hose at Meltter to try and reduce his heat. This fails as Meltter's body evaporates the water, accidentally alerting Master Melt and his men, in which he retaliates by forcing Meltter's hand to attack Stuart, scaring the two. Thinking quickly, Stuart fires a blast of water at Master Melt, who loses his focus and accidentally drops Meltter. Upon landing, Meltter turns back into Ben and sees Stuart running to him. Apologising for his action's, Ben asks Stuart as to what their plan is.
With Master Melt firing more flames, Ben and Stuart narrowly avoid a blast before the latter mentions turning into an alien that could help them before. Before transforming, Stuart gives Ben an earphone to communicate with him, in which the latter thanks him for. Running of the building, Ben transforms into Transmelt and flies to Master Melt, who is overjoyed at another flaming creature to control. As he begins to take control of Transmelt's flames, the latter morphs his body into a diamond-like substance and crashes onto the flamethrower. Overpowering Master Melt's fire attacks, Transmelt demands the latter to stop his attack, only for the latter to explain there was a wire attached to the core of the flamethrower, and cutting it will stop the machine.
Phasing through the core, Transmelt discovers a red and blue wire, and contacts Stuart about it. Explaining the situation, Transmelt questions Stuart as to which wire he should cut, as he is worried that cutting the wrong wire would cause great harm. Stuart suggests that Transmelt looks around until he finds a situation that makes him comfortable, giving Transmelt an idea. Breathing fire on the entire core, Transmelt transforms it into a more simplistic device, safely cutting it and disabling the flamethrower. Upon landing the machine, Transmelt flies around Bellwood to extinguish the flames, freezing Master Melt and his men in the process.
As Master Melt and his men are arrested, Ben explains to Stuart that he wants to make things right, since his actions caused more harm than good. Stuart is confused as to what Ben meant, as he already helped repair all the damage during the attack. Later, Ben enters a store and explains to the clerk about how he intends on returning the video game, claiming he found it after it fell of the delivery truck. The clerk is overjoyed, and Stuart proudly looks at Ben.
