Poké Balls are devices used by humans to call Pokémon.
Appearance[]
The standard issue Poké Ball is a sphere with a red half and a white half, divided by a black line with a button.
Features[]
Upon hitting a Pokémon, it will open and shoot out a beam of light. Unlike the Poké Balls from Pokémon canon, it will not physically catch the Pokémon. Successfully using a Poké Ball is still called “capturing”, because you’re capturing them with friendship. If the beam hits, then whenever the Poké Ball is opened again, the Poké Ball will shoot out the Pokémon, but this can be denied. After having summoned a Pokémon, a red beam of light can be fired to send the Pokémon back to where it was. The Poké Ball will not work on things that aren’t Pokémon.
