Feedback Vs. Malware: Revenge of the Five Year Hiatus is the twentieth episode of Omniverse: At Night.

Plot[]

The episode begins five minutes prior to the destruction of Galvan B. Many Galvanic Mechamorphs swarm Malware, who tackled and beat them all with ease, eager to aborb the helix's energy. With Malware performing said act, the moon then explodes, which then cuts to the perspective of Ben, Rook and Azmuth, who reacted badly to the high frequencies it produced.

With some handful of Galvan soldiers commanded to take pursuit, Ben, Rook and Azmuth jump onto a hoverboard as Ben would transform into NRG and shoot a few oncoming rocks setting a crash course onto Galvan Prime. With them exposed to Malware making an arrival to Galvan Prime via the rocks, NRG switches into Arctiguana, who begins freezing some parts of Malware, assuming he wouldn't be able to use those parts to reform. Elsewhere, one of those Malware rocks crashed onto the cage that kept Zed contained as she escapes. Back in the air, Arctiguana (who transforms back) wishes to drop down as he wants to fight Malware.

The scene cuts to Earth, Max is notified by Rook that he and Ben had been at Galvan Prime due to Malware planning an invasion in order to kill him. With Max notified, he contacts Gwen and Kevin, who were fighting a handful of Rock Monsters in Friedkin University, before Max drops the bombshell that Azmuth is going to die. Gwen teels Kevin to bring the Rust Bucket 3, however Max would tell her that Rook will come collect her. With Gwen hanging up, Max requests Rook to collect Gwen and Kevin.

On the other end, Rook and Humungousaur (who had been transformed into off-screen) were dodging against Malware, who would then destroy the Proto-Tool, which upsets Rook. Rook tells Humungousaur that he has to go and collect Gwen and Kevin, as the Vaxasaurian would say that he'll be fine fending off Malware. With Rook gone, Malware taunts Ben that he always depends on people to help him, as Humungousaur disagrees, correcting him with how Ben had been able to rely on himself, back when he had been trapped inside the Ultimatrix. Malware would bring up the fact he got upset at the loss of Feedback five years ago, in which Humungousaur was embarrassed to hear such traumatising things. Malware would soon draw out a blade as he'd begin to swing at Humungousaur, who would fight back, restraining the villain, who would liquidify his hands, trapping Humungousaur, who was in the state of panic. Malware slowly starts to form over the Vaxasaurian, yelling about how much he's going to take over Galvan Prime. With Humungousaur drained of energy, Rook swoops in with his Proto-TRUK, with Malware separated from Humungousaur, who transforms back. Gwen and Kevin rush in and take him inside the vehicle, evacuating the area.

Ben is checked over by Blukic and Driba, who then wakes up at the digust of having his breath tasting like Malware. Kevin wishes to help Ben take him down, seeming to know a few things about Galvanic Mechamorphs, listing things such as their size alteration and density shifting. Ben accepts the offer as he transforms into Terraspin, telling Kevin to hold onto his carapace. Terraspin and Kevin fly down to the surface before Kevin would coat himself in some rock, making himself more durable. Upon seeing Malware firing a few beams in order to find Ben and Kevin, Malware would eventually find them, as he whacks Terraspin into a nearby lake, resulting on Ben switching from Terraspin to Ripjaws in order to swim back, eventually transforming himself into Gravattack. Gravattack would push Malware a few feet as he'd also redirect many beams by using his gravitokinesis. Malware would soon absorb more broken pieces of rock onto himself to make him bigger in person, towering over Gravattack and Kevin, who wishes to sit this one out.

Annoyed at Malware's choice of combat, Gravattack soon switches into Way Big, while Kevin goes off to find some troops, only for Zed to attempt to stop him in his tracks. Meanwhile, Way Big is tossed backwards by Malware, calling him a fool. He then charges at Malware, throwing punches then kicking him backwards. Malware fires one of his parts at Way Big, but he destroys it using a cosmic ray that also hits Malware. Assuming that Ben had defeated Malware, some Galvan soldiers would take a peek, when Malware suddenly traps Way Big and reforms, having his gooey body form over the To'kustar rapidly.

At the remains of Galvan B, Azmuth, Gwen and Rook would begin to examine the helix Azmuth had used to cause the destruction of said moon. Noticing it is in good condition, Azmuth asks for some spare pocket change.

Malware scolds Ben and his loyalty towards Azmuth, having rapidly growing in size and absorbing Way Big into his body, ultimately defeating him once and for all. With Kevin upset at the supposed loss of Ben, several Galvan soldiers began swarming at Malware whilst firing energy beams that did no physical damage. Malware continues his course of destroying buildings and blasting back at anyone who dared to attack him. At this point, nobody could stop him. With Kevin saving Zed from being trapped in some rubble and rock, Malware is split open from the top of his head by a blue electric beam, as Feedback would pull himself out of the corrupt Galvanic Mechamorph, before jumping down to Kevin and the others' level.

Malware is shocked, but says that he will destroy Feedback again. Feedback absorbs Malware's energy blasts and sends them back at Malware, damaging him, while Ben remembers why he loves Feedback. Feedback flies toward Malware, dodging his attacks and blasts at him, but ends up flying into the water. Suddenly, a swarm of Galvanic Mechamorphs began raining down on the surface of Galvan Prime, as Malware is shocked, assuming he destroyed them all. His body began to crumble until his third form would reappear. Feedback decides he needs something to take down Malware once and for all and Azmuth appears behind him with a suggestion. Feedback realizes that Azmuth saved the Galvanic Mechamorphs and Azmuth offers Feedback the energy from the Helix to finish off Malware. He then absorbs the energy and launches it at Malware, while in turn Malware launches energy at Feedback. His energy blast cuts through Malware's, destroying Malware in the process. Feedback transforms back to normal, with everyone celebrating Malware's defeat.

Some time afterwards, Azmuth congratulates Ben on defeating Malware, before he is asked about his escape from Malware. Ben explained that he didn't forgive huimself properly for the mistake of having Feedback ripped from the Omnitrix. Ben would clarify that he needed to become a stronger and better person in order to take down Malware, to which Azmuth was amazed by Ben's gratitude. With Ben and the gang climbing into the Proto-TRUK, the episode ends with Ben thanking that all the fighting was over.
