Eternia is the current homeworld of the ancient people of Eternians, and has at least two identical moons. It is linked to the planet Etheria, considered its sister planet.
Landscape[]
Strange and mysterious, Eternia is home to the dominant species: the Eternians. Etheria's sister planet, Eternia is easily recognizable from space because it is surrounded by two planetary rings and is covered by 70% water, with six distinct landmasses and polar ice caps at its northernmost and southernmost points. This planet has two natural satellites, also twins like the planet.
History[]
Background[]
Prehistory[]
Prehistoric Eternia was founded on sorcery and was inhabited by monsters, giants, cavemen, and dinosaur-like creatures.
At one point, the relative peace was threatened by King Hiss and the Snake Men. The battle culminated in the defeat of the Snake Men and the sacrifice of King Grayskull for the salvation of the planet. Afterwards, the recorded history of Eternia begins to take place.
Epoca Imperiale[]
The Begins[]
At a certain point, the studies of the capital's Council of Elders allows Eternia to have rapid and whirlwind scientific progress at the expense of witchcraft.
Old, barbaric medieval technologies are being replaced by increasingly sophisticated updated versions.
The "Golden" Age[]
The Kings of Eternos slowly turn into puppets of the Council of Elders, which becomes more and more corrupt as the years pass. Xenophobic propaganda and hunts against non-humans begin, accompanied by a violent intergalactic colonization that almost sends several worlds like Krytis into decline.
The Decline[]
At some point, Eternia comes into conflict with Horde Prime's empire.
