Electrock is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Fulminic Sentry Geode from the planet Fulmas.
Apperance[]
Electrock is a rocky creature comprised of a deep green rock, which has vibrant green moss on it. He has a large, misshapen, rounded rock in the center of his body, which has ore-like, green splotches on it which are his eyes. Above that rock floats another similarly shaped one which is smaller, and off if it are shards of uneven, misshapen rocks that form his two limbs, which can act as both arms and legs. Across his entire body is purple electricity.
Electrock wears the Omnitrix on the top floating rock.
Powers[]
- Electrock has electrokinesis. With this electrokinesis, he also has:
- Electrical telekinesis, allowing him to move himself, others, or objects around with his electricity.
- Electrical regeneration, allowing him to pull himself back together if his rocks become separated.
- Most notably, his electricity is capable of controlling the Fulmini should it infect the typically cyan energy of a Fulmini. Although doing so puts the Fulmini under control of Electrock, it also heavily increases the power the Fulmini have.
- Electrock "speaks" through the sounds of his electricity.
- Electrock can manipulate weather to some extent.
- Electrock has a full view around him, as his lower body is covered in his eyes.
- While he can have his rocks strewn apart, he is rather durable.
Weaknesses[]
- Electrock is not particularly strong, relying more on his electrokinesis and telekinesis when fighting.
- Electrock can have a communication barrier, as he speaks through electricity which most cannot understand. Examples of those that can are Fulmini, Cererbrocrustaceans, Nosedeenians, and Amperi.
- Electrock's body can be torn apart, though he can easily rebuild himself.
- Electrock's electricity can be absorbed.
Trivia[]
General[]
- Electrock was inspired by the Storm Atronachs of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
- After deciding to use this as inspiration, it was determined that it would be a bit of a challenge to differentiate it from Shock Rock, so it was just a simple matter of connecting the two than trying to make them entirely separate with no relation at all.
- Electrock's name is similar to that of Electrockutioner, the Albedo version of Shock Rock in Earth-1010, an (unintentional) nod to the relationship between the Fulmini and Fulminic Sentry Geodes.
- Electrock was made for the Alien Creation Contest of Summer Fanon Con 2020.
Lore[]
- Lore-wise, it's no coincidence that Electrock has the same color scheme as the High Override. As far as this lore is concerned, the High Override was a victim of being controlled by a Fulminic Sentry Geode. Typically, the Fulmini under control by a Sentry Geode will appear like Shock Rock did during Innervasion. However, the High Override had an extreme amount of long term exposure, increasing his size, augmenting his appearance, and giving him essentially dominion over the entire Fulmini race.
- The rise of Fulmini technology on Fulmas eventually began to disrupt the natural ecosystems in which the Sentry Geodes resided. Although the entire planet is effectively weaponized, there are still several remote places where the Sentry Geodes now live, though it is mostly underground. Eventually, a Fulmini fell into one of the remote cave systems belonging to the Sentry Geodes, which lead to him being overtaken and controlled. This Fulmini would go on to become the High Override.
- Given enough time, the Fulminic Sentry Geodes could eventually corrupt the Fulmini technology, and create their own which would allow them to control other electricity based species. Given even more time, this technology could evolve to the point of controlling species that simply have electrical pulses in their bodies without actually being electricity based. It is currently unknown how far along the species is from getting to this point.
