Electricyeti is the Hero Watch's DNA sample of a Gimlinopithecus from the planet Pattersonea in Omniverse: At Night and is the Dimension 23 equivalent of Shocksquatch.
Appearance[]
Electricyeti looks identical to Shocksquatch in Omniverse, except his yellow fur is coloured a deep blue-grey. His face, fingers and toes (as well as his fingernails and toenails) are coloured a lighter shade of the grey colour they were on Ben Prime's Shocksquatch. The bolts on his black furry head and on each wrist are coloured gold. He wears a blue belt.
The Hero Watch is located on his belt.
Powers and Abilities[]
Electricyeti has the power of electrokinesis, which gives him the ability to manipulate the strong charges of blue, high-voltage electricity he releases from the bolts on his body, or from his mouth. These charges can be used to create localized electric fields, or can be projected as beams at targets a considerable distance away. These beams can even travel across the ground, as demonstrated by Crashocker.
Electricyeti can charge up his body with static electricity, by generating which from his bolts, or by rubbing his hands together. Once his body is sufficiently charged, his fur will stand on end, and he can unleash a powerful electric shock to the next thing he touches. Electricyeti can also use this power supportively to beings that are electrically resistant, such as a rolled-up Arburian Pelarota, by transferring his charge to their body.
By covering objects with his electricity, Electricyeti can telekinetically move them. Electricyeti can also generate an electric force field that can shoot beams of electricity in multiple directions.
Electricyeti is quite strong, as shown when Shocksquatch punched Buglizard until the ground fell apart, causing them to fall through into the subway.
Electricyeti has a degree of enhanced durability, as Shocksquatch was able to withstand being flicked off a Way Bad. He is also immune to freezing climates thanks to his thick fur.
Electricyeti is more agile than he looks, as Shocksquatch jumped over Buglizard easily.
Electricyeti is fast enough on foot to keep up with a speeding car, as demonstrated by Shocksquatch. He can also run on all fours in a similar fashion to a bull or rhinoceros to increase his speed.
Electricyeti can temporarily shield himself against cosmic radiation by generating electric fields around his body.
Weaknesses[]
Electricyeti's electrokinesis is useless against electricity-impermeable materials, as demonstrated by Fistrick. He was able to defend himself against Shocksquatch's attack with his electrically-insulated boots.
Electricyeti can shock himself, as demonstrated when Ultimate Spidermonkey wrapped a metal pipe around Shocksquatch. Electricyeti can also be harmed by external electricity.
Electricyeti is helpless while insulated, as he is completely unable to generate electricity, demonstrated by Bubble Helmet as a Gimlinopithecus hybrid when he was insulated by thick foam.
Electricyeti is weak against enemies who can drain electricity, such as Phil.
Electricyeti can be ensnared by an Evolved Arachnichimp's webs.
Even though he can resist cosmic radiation, it can still be lethal to Electricyeti after a certain period of time.
History[]
- In Introducing Ben 23, Electricyeti was indirectly mentioned by Ben 23 after Ben transformed into Shocksquatch, claiming that he already had him inside the Hero Watch.
Appearances[]
Etymology[]
Electricyeti's name is a pun on "electricity" and "yeti".
Trivia[]
- Electricyeti was an early name for Shocksquatch that was coined by Cartoon Network executive Brian Jones.
- Similar to how electrical and/or monkey sounds are heard whenever Shocksquatch speaks in Omniverse, those same sound effects can be heard whenever Electricyeti is generating electricity.
