The Edge of the Omniverse is a wild and dangerous space far beyond the safety of the Core of Creation. Here, otherwise impossible travel between multiverses becomes not only possible but relatively easy. This has made the universes here targets of The Flesh. It is the primary setting of Ben 10: Beyond Bellwood.
Ben 10 Multiverse[]
Earth-CDXI.411[]
This reality was destroyed by the Flesh in 2016. It is the original dimension of the multiversal heroes Kev 'Leven and Ben Tennyson. It was the primary setting for the earlier seasons of Kev 11.
Appearances[]
- Life and Flesh (destroyed)
- The Genocide Gene (via flashback)
Earth-MMVII.0279[]
Another world from the Ben 10 Multiverse that drifted beyond the Core of Creation. From a meta perspective, this world follows a version of the Omniverse future. Ben Tennyson develops the Biomnitrix system and becomes Ben 10,000, and his son Ken is recruited by Professor Paradox to become Chronospanner.
Appearances[]
Earth-10,000,000.3[]
The Prime Ben 10 universe, from which all others deviate. Ben received the Omnitrix at age 10 in Yosemite National Park in 2006 and becomes a universal hero under the tutelage of his Grandpa Max. This universe is no stranger to cross-dimensional trouble, although only this one has so far drifted to the Edge of the Omniverse.
Appearances[]
Bear 10 Universe[]
A universe mentioned by Flesh Avatar Tony Stark in Children of the Flesh. This timeline was destroyed by the Flesh, but was missing its Omnitrix. Nothing else was mentioned of this universe.
Forever Ben Universe[]
A universe mentioned by Flesh Avatar Tony Stark in Children of the Flesh. This timeline was destroyed by the Flesh, but was missing its Omnitrix. This Ben was mentioned to have had a 'funny sword'. That sword was Ascalon.
Major Universes[]
Friendship is Magic[]
One of the largest branches in the My Little Pony Multiverse, the Friendship is Magic universe is a place of relatively grand turmoil within a calm setting. Its history is very literally guided by the friendship of its most influential inhabitants. Without it, they would die.
In the current era, the peace is maintained by two very small groups; the Royals (Princess Celestia and Princess Luna) and the Mane Six. The latter of the groups is far more powerful, albeit less influential, as the six individuals each represent an Element of Harmony. These elements grant their wielders almost unlimited power with the stipulation that the very positivity required to summon them in the first place by necessity prevents them from being abused.
Appearances[]
Doctor Who[]
An incredibly expansive and diverse universe. Unlike most in the Omniverse, the Doctor Who universe does not experience peaks and lulls in its activity; its entire history is rife with developments and anchors.
The continuity of this universe is prone to contradiction. In times of old the linearity of this universe was upheld by the Time Lord society of Gallifrey, but this Grand Continuity was brought to an end when the Daleks rose to challenge them in the Last Great Time War. Although the Time Lords very nearly reclaimed their status in its wake they were ultimately destroyed by one of their own. Now the universe is mastered by the dying race of the Mouri, and only a matter of time stands between known history and the next grand sweeping timeline.
Appearances[]
Red Dwarf[]
The Mining Ship Red Dwarf, three million years into the future and just as far from Earth, serves as the crucial stage for the whole of this universe. It is home to the last surviving human, Dave Lister, and the few souls chosen to accompany him; the hologram reanimation of Arnold Rimmer and the Cat descended from Dave's pet Frankenstein. They would later be accompanied by the feline Nepeta Rosemary and the android Kryten.
The history of this universe is chaotic and inconsistent. It is prone to intermingling with other timelines, muddling across its own history, and Ouroboros Scenarios. Those who used to cause-and-effect linearity will find this universe uncomfortable.
Alternate Timeline[]
In an alternate Timeline, Kristine Kochanski was placed into suspended animation instead of Dave Lister. This timeline would eventually have crossed over into the main timeline briefly, however it was attacked by the Flesh who took the Kochanski from this timeline in an attempt to manipulate the main Lister.
Appearances[]
Minor Universes[]
Abandoned Universe[]
A universe besieged by the Flesh. The survivors built a wormhole and sought out another universe to escape to; a journey that succeeded in part thanks to Ben's intervention. This universe now belongs only to the Flesh. Although since Professor Paradox opened a door into the Absence it is unclear if anything could have survived.
Appearances
"32-94"[]
Another universe. Nothing is known of it save that it is inhabitable, as the survivors of the Abandoned Universe fled here. Ben ensured that the Flesh could not follow into here.
Appearances
Earth-199898[]
A universe from the Marvel Multiverse, not the Ben 10 Multiverse, that was besieged and conquered by the Flesh. The Tony Stark of this universe willingly joined with the Flesh, believing they would bring a paradise to the people who deserved it- the Anchors.
Dead Universe[]
A universe totally lost to the Flesh, barely visible in the Chrononavigator.
Appearances
- The Other Ben
- Prodigy
Other Locations[]
The Absence[]
The howling nothingness between realities. Nothing can exist here. It is a place without time or cause or consequence- to be trapped here is to be beyond rescue and beyond death. The Absence will naturally try to pull in anything that has travelled through it. Multiversal travel, by its nature, requires passage through the Absence and therefore marks travellers as vulnerable to this phenomenon.
Professor Paradox changed a multiversal gateway to target the Absence in Life and Flesh. A Flesh Monstrosity was pulled in and trapped here.
Other Names[]
Name | Known To |
---|---|
the Abscess | the Flesh |
the Absence | Professor Paradox |
Hell | various |
the Place Beyond the Pond | Galvan |
"Metal Universes"[]
Universes mentioned briefly by Tony Stark to Ben Tennyson as being beyond the reach of the Flesh. It is unclear what these universes are. There were mentioned in Children of the Flesh.
Murmur Space[]
A small parasitic space attached to the larger Earth-CDXI.411. Its sole inhabitant was the Murmur, a large creature that hung from the ceiling of the plane and watched the goings-on of the universe it parasitised.
Appearances
Ocean Realm[]
A realm of rather bizarre form, but otherwise similar to more normal realities in terms of happenings. It is a realm of ocean worlds, hospitable and plentiful with life. The oceans seem to reflect distant universes.
This universe was designated "32-85" by the scientists of the Abandoned Universe.
Appearances
The Whisper[]
A safe shallows in the flows of the Omniverse. The Whisper is a place where Professor Paradox often hides away in between his missions. It also makes for a great vantage point from which to observe the movements of the Flesh and plot out his next actions.
