Dummy Bag is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Obtundian from the planet Obtundos, created by SOULARCHER20.

Appearance

Dummy Bag is a yellow blob-like alien who is half the size of an average human. He lacks legs and has 2 short, stubby, fingerless arms. He has 3 green eyes with black rings spread across his forehead, though the one in the middle is slightly raised above his mouth. He wears the Omnitrix symbol on a green belt running around his body, though it is slightly covered by his baggy chin, which strongly resembles his arms.

Personality

As a sentient alien, Dummy Bag has a child-like and adventerous personality, often exploring new places without concerning others.

Powers and Abilities

Dummy Bag's body is incredibly soft and indestructible, as nothing could inflict severe harm to his body. His body is resistant to a variety of hazardous substances such as acids, poisons and radiation, as well as severe heat and cold temperatures. His skin is tough enough to withstand an attack from a Synthenism, who's claws and jaws can pierce human skin.

Dummy Bag is extremely heavy, as an average human would struggle to lift him, and he would easily weigh down any smaller flying object.

Because of his rubbery skin, Dummy Bag is resistant to sound-based attacks and can become slightly soundproof. His body also makes him resistant to electricity.

His 3 eyes give him a wider field of vision.

Despite his simplistic design, Dummy Bag could be used in a variety of situations. For example, he could be thrown as a dangerous projectile or be used to clog up small areas such as pipes. He could also be used to trip his enemies, weigh them down, or be used to reduce damage from a collision.

Weaknesses

Due to his body's design and lack of useful features, Dummy Bag is practically useless in combat situations.

As he lacks legs, Dummy Bag often struggles to move due to his weight. His weight often makes it difficult for him to move and even jump, and allies would struggle to move him, meaning that Dummy Bag would get in the way.

Because of his extremely short arms, Dummy Bag is limited when it comes to the use of his arms, as the are to short to even reach his Omnitrix symbol. His lack of fingers reduces his dexterity, making it hard for him to grab objects.

Despite his durability, Dummy Bag can still feel severe pain from a lot of attacks, as his durability is only to protect him from fatal harm. He is also able to be melted by a Bonfurnace.

Dummy Bag requires a constant supply of oxygen, meaning that he cannot survive in the vacuum of space, or submerged in liquids. The latter can prove even more fatal due to his heavy body and physique which prevents him from swimming.

Unlike other aliens with heavy bodies, Dummy Bag is unable to roll willingly due to his short arms and lack of legs.

There is a limit to the small space he can fit in, as he could easily get stuck in extremely small openings and have difficulties in escaping.

He is vulnurable to psychic attacks and can easily be mind controlled.

History

• Dummy Bag first appeared in Omni-Switched, where he was accidentally unlocked by Ben, and was reluctantly brought to The Fictioverse by Stuart due to his difficulties in moving. His unlock caused Ben to accidentally damage the Omnitrix afterwards, and this caused Dummy Bag's DNA to be switched with Chicolt. His DNA was returned to normal after Ben fixed the Omnitrix, and Ben accidentally turned into him again at the end of the episode.
• In More Than You Can Chew, Ben accidentally turned into Dummy Bag and got trapped by Glueface. However, his weight enabled him to escape and turn into Powerpipe.
• In Run, Stuart, Run, Ben accidentally turned into Dummy Bag when he tried to help Stuart escape Hackattack, but failed.
• In Creeping-Crawler, Ben accidentally turned into Dummy Bag and was attacked by the mutated Dr. Kelly, but survived due to his tough skin.
• In Miniature Combat, Slix Vigma forced Ben to turn into Dummy Bag so that he could be defeated by the Way Bad, but Stuart managed to turn him into Transmelt just in time.
• In One Big Omni Family, Dummy Bag acquired sentience after an A.I.R. device affected the Omnitrix, nearly falling on Stuart. He didn't help much due to his physique, and eventually aided in the battle at the A.I.R. base by being used as a projectile. He was then readded to the Omnitrix after being scanned by Ben. Ben eventually turned into him by accident at the end of the episode, but was content with it.
• In Prom Night, Ben accidentally turned into Dummy Bag when trying to fight Mr. Thorninon's men, and eventually admitted his feelings to Tessa.
• In Dummy's Day Out, Dummy Bag acquired sentience once again after Ben got incapacicated by a blast. Throughout the episode, he began exploring Bellwood while Stuart, Tessa and The Darhkness 3 all chased after him. When he is nearly captured by the A.I.R. agents, Ben successfully recovers and rescans him back into the Omnitrix before transforming into him accidentally.

Etymology

Dummy Bag's name is a combination of the words "Dummy" (based on the fact Ben finds him useless, as well as his funny appearance), and "Punching Bag" (referencing his powers, where he can only take hits from his opponent).

Trivia

• Dummy Bag is considered Ben's equivalent to The Worst, due to their similar body designs and indestructible bodies.
  • Unlike The Worst however, Dummy Bag lacks legs and is heavier, making him a bigger nuisance to Ben.
• Dummy Bag was created for the purpose of gags.
• He is Ben's shortest alien.
• Interestingly, Dummy Bag was the reason Ben unlocked the Omni-Haywire transformations, as Ben was unsatisfied with Dummy Bag and tampered with the Omnitrix's unlock feature, causing the Omnit-Haywire forms to be made.
• Despite disliking Dummy Bag due to his weight, Stuart thinks he's -kinda- cute.
• Dummy Bag is the first alien to be given a major role in an episode upon acquiring sentience.
