Divertungo is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Fungoid from the planet Etheria.
Appearance[]
Divertungo is a humanoid mushroom with stubby legs. He has mushroom caps on his shoulders and one large one as his head, under which his two green eyes reside. He has two pores on each arm and wears black shorts with green accents. He stands around 5 feet tall.
Divertungo wears the Omnitrix symbol on his belt.
Abilities[]
- Laughter Inducing Spores: Divertungo secretes spores from his body that induce uncontrollable laughter upon anyone that comes in contact with. The spores would affect different species differently, but could never be lethal.
- Regeneration: Divertungo’s body will regrow severed or damaged limbs instantly.
Weaknesses[]
- Water: Divertungo’s spores can easily be washed off with water, getting rid of its effects.
- Fire: Due to his plant physiology, Divertungo is extremely weak to fire.
- Cold Temperatures: Being plant-based alien, Divertungo is particularly sensitive to extremely cold temperatures. Unless he is given an energy source, he will quickly dry up, wilt, and perish.
- Fragile Body: Divertungo is quite small and is not suitable for hand-to-hand combat.

Divertungo is a Italian pun on "Divertire" (amuse) and "Fungo" (mushroom).
Trivia[]
- Divertungo is genetically related to Reptile and Flutterina, all three being from the same homeworld, Etheria.
- Panciamarcia is unable to replicate Divertungo's laughing spores, as he only works with chemical gases.
