Deadspace is the Super Unitrix's DNA sample of an Ectonurite from the planet Anur Phaetos in Age of the Unitrix. He is the Earth-775775 equivalent of Ghostfreak.

Deadspace is a phantom, ghost-like alien with sharp claw like hands. He has grey skin with black lines running across his body in numerous places. The unitrix symbol peaks out of the track along his chest, and a single purple eye peaks through the track running along the face.

Transformation Sequence

An animated version of the transformation sequence is included in the gallery below.

Extract from The Unitrix Earth, when Ann first used Deadspace:

"She slams down the core, and her skin turns to a deathly grey. Her legs merge into a single short tail as she begins to hover ominously. Black chasms begin forming along her new skin, all connected to each other. The crack covering her chest widens rapidly to reveal the unitrix beneath it, and a single purple eye pierces through the track along her face. She floats like a ghost before the three mercenaries."

Powers and Abilities

Being an ectonurite, Deadspace shares the same powers as the rest of his species.

Deadspace can fly, and this is his primary mode of transport.

Like a ghost, Deadspace can turn himself invisible and intangible.

Like any intangible species, an ectonurites intangibility is useless against other intangible creatures, super-tangible materials, and protoplasm freezing substances.

Deadspace is a very slow flyer, and is out-sped by most other flying species.

Deadspace cannot use his mind controlling powers on creatures with no mind.

Deadspace was first used by Ann in The Unitrix Earth. He was used to fend off the three mercenaries, but was ultimately defeated. Deadspace was later used to fight Agent 1984 and 1835, ultimately defeating the both of them with help from Kenny.

Age of the Unitrix

Deadspace's name is a reference to the game series of the same name. His name also comes from the idea that ghosts are the spirits of the dead, as well as ectonurites being aliens from space.

  • Strangely, despite Ann being female, she refers to Deadspace as a male.
  • The animated transformation sequence was uploaded to this wiki long before any official announcement of the Age of the Unitrix. This makes Deadspace, partially alongside Ann, the first character to be shown in any artwork for the series.
