Deadlights abilities include:
- Hard-light Manipulation
- Deadlight has the ability to create structures out of solid light. These structures can take various forms, anywhere from as simple as a light shield to something as complex as a battleship.
- Advanced Healing
- Deadlight can heal from almost any injury sustained to his body below the neck.
- Super Strength
- Laser Beams
Appearance[]
Deadlight looks like a large grayish pink zombie-like alien with a skeletal face and glowing green eyes. Deadlight is covered in wart-light bumps and has glowing green rods sticking out of various points on his body. He wears a glowing green belt with black and green shorts and green wrist bracers. The Omnitrix rests on a shoulder pad on his left arm.
Weaknesses[]
Deadlight has a fairly unimpressive durability, with many heavy attacks going straight through him. He is significantly more vulnerable to head attacks and must take care to defend his head as it doesn't heal as effectively as the rest of his body.
Species Details[]
On their, planet Tenebris-6, Deadlight's species, Halperilux, primarily feast on the neural energy of Luxanimus, incredibly intelligent pure light beings that can only be harmed by light based attacks.
Etymology[]
- The species name "Halperilux" comes from a combination of Victor Halperin who released "White Zombie" which is often cited as the first Zombie film, and the Latin word for light "Lux".
- The planet name "Tenebris-6" comes from the Latin word for darkness "Tenebris".
