Construx is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Lapluromini from the Kostruer Belt.
Appearance[]
Construx is a 10-foot tall humanoid mechanical alien who is constructed out of trillions of microscopic cell-like machines called nanites. He lacks a conventional endoskeleton, circulatory and nervous system, with his internal structure forming a complex network of scaffolding and bridges that are able to transport, store and replace most acquired materials on the fly. His nanites form a smooth, black exoskeleton, with additional plating for his head, shoulders, chest, hands, hips, knees, shins and feet, which is salmon red by default. His face is white, with two glowing green eyes, a nose and a mouth slit with a frowning expression that does not move when he speaks, but instead glows green in the middle and the glow spreads towards its corners with varying speed and intensity according to his emotions. His arms and shins possess a varying number of white hexagonal panels.
Construx wears the Omnitrix symbol on his chest.
Powers and Abilities[]
Construx's nanites have the ability to rapidly self-replicate and rearrange themselves, giving him the ability to shapeshift with ease. He can form various constructs, or "builds", such as enlarged gauntlets, blades, shields, pillars and other weapons and/or tools.
Construx can generate hard light constructs from the hexagonal panels located throughout his body, thus saving up on the active nanites being utilized.
Construx can generate a devastating electromagnetic pulse that is able to disable any electronic equipment in the near vicinity.
Construx can separate his body into multiple smaller copies of himself referred to as "drones". These drones have all the functions of the original Construx to a more limited degree, as well as the ability to assimilate almost any technology they encounter. This technology is engrained into the genetic blueprint map encoded to all Lapluromini, therefore permanently enhancing Construx with the attributes of the assimilated technology.
Construx's nanites can be utilized for a variety of medical purposes, such as advancing cellular regeneration of any type, regulating autoimmune disorders and even performing nanosurgery, including precise and otherwise impossible tumor excisions. Once their purpose is fulfilled, Construx can safely extract the nanites from the patient.
Construx can levitate in all forms.
Construx is able to combine himself with other members of his species to increase their powers exponentially.
Weaknesses[]
Construx's body is vulnerable to acid; his hard light constructs can provide sufficient protection, however.
While Construx's hard light constructs are more cost-efficient, they are also more limited in scope compared to the builds generated by his active nanites.
Construx's drones are weakened the further apart they are spread from one another.
Species and Planet Information[]
Lapluromini prefer to keep their distance from the rest of the galaxy. They have designated Sentinels that form hard light constructs in order to further shield the Konstruer Belt. Not many species know of their existence, but the ones who do sought them out due to their potential in medical advancement.

Construx's name is a misspelling of the word "constructs".
Construx's species' name, Lapluromini, comes from the Latin word for "many beings", "plurimos laminis".
Construx's home, the Kostruer Belt, comes from the Italian word for "construct", "costruire".

- Construx was created by Ulti and Ultra as a replacement for Bloxx and Surge.
- Bloxx, Surge and their respective species and home planets do not exist in Timeline 1 of Earth-50.
- Construx speaks in a calm voice similar to Alpha, but deeper.
- He speaks in first person plural, while his drones speak in first person singular.
