Cognito is one of The Watch's imported creatures in The Force of Light.

Appearance

Cognito is a pale humanoid with rounded-diamond shaped eyes and tentacles. He wears a black cloak with loose sleeves, as well as dark grey shorts. He as well wears black boots that resemble tentacles. He has The Watch symbol on his chest, colored black.

In his old design, his skin is more light green and his clothes are more purple. Cognito wore a ripped cloak and a black suit with one leg sleeve being long resembling a tentacle. The Watch symbol is located around his waist on top of a belt.

Powers and Abilities

Cognito's main ability is to control darkness, an area where a single light won't shine through. He's able to form darkness from his tentacles, mostly using it to limit an opponents vision. Despite not being able to see through his own darkness, Cognito relies on his instincts to navigate, as well as facing luck-based situations.

Cognito is as well able to generate barriers. Cognito's barriers come in two, with each barrier having it's own advantage:

• Barrier 1; A black dome shaped barrier stuck to the ground, stopping anything trying to protrude through it.
• Barrier 2: A grey bubble shaped barrier with the ability to move about, slowing down anything trying to protrude through it.

Cognito has very prehensible tentacles, able to grab faraway items from a long distance. He also uses his tentacles to swing from one place to another. Not only that, his entire body is elastic, able to stretch it as long as he can handle.

Cogntio also has the ability to become incredibly silent, performing any kind of motion without a sound. On top of that, Cognito is able to hide himself in any area available. Cognito also has incredible hearing, able to listen to sounds from faraway, as well as using it to track others via the sounds they make.

Weaknesses

Cognito is still vulnerable to attacks considering his vision as well is being limited when in his own darkness. With his barriers, his first barrier may take up a lot of his energy. On top of that, with that barrier being the most strongest barrier he has, not even air can protrude through that barrier. Furthermore, Cognito would have to use it carefully.

Etymology

The name "Cognito" comes from the word "Incognito", which refers to his ability to become silent and invisible by hiding and becoming inaudible.
