Codename: Grid is a Government funded Organization on Earth.
History[]
The Rebootedverse[]
Codename: Grid was first created in 1992, when the Mutant virus spread. Billionare Maxwell Powers founded and funded Codename: Grid. Codename: Grid's original purpose was to capture all Mutants and eliminate them. It was then changed in 1994 to Capture all Mutants and experiment on them. In 1995, Codename: Grid found out about all the Aliens in Central City, and was sent to investigate. Meanwhile, Knighttech appeared to be hiding the Aliens' existence. Codename: Grid was also sent to investigate Knighttech. Knighttech CEO Buford Knight and Maxwell Powers worked out an agreement, with Codename: Grid helping Knighttech, and Codename: Grid getting all the information, and everything else. But Meanwhile, Codename: Grid found all the Aliens, and managed to contain the Aliens all in Central City. Codename: Grid made an agreement with the Government, The News Media, and everyone else to keep all the Aliens a secret from everyone else.
In 2000, Maxwell Powers made up the name Codename: Grid, to hide the organization.
In 2007, Maxwell Powers was assassinated. But, mysteriously, his body was never found.
