Clutch is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of an Liabilaster from The Burden. He is one of Fly's aliens.
Appearance[]
Clutch is a deformed yellow humanoid who looks significantly more "realistic" than some of Fly's other transformations. He has a perfectly circular head with shrunken eyes & a tiny dent-like mouth. He has a long neck. His torso is vaguely star-shaped & wears a plain pink shirt with text on the front reading "where my hug at❗❗❗". He has long, stumpy legs with three toes on each foot. The Omnitrix symbol, now much more detailed, is on his forehead.
Powers and Abilities[]
Clutch has the ability to grab onto anything via hugging them. Once you are in his grasp, no known being can escape it unless he decides to loosen his grip. No Celestialsapien, Phonkian, Supernovoid, or even an Ultimate Spheroid could escape.
Clutch's body appears to be very stiff & statue-esque, seemingly unable to actually grab ahold of anything. However, Clutch is incredibly flexible despite appearances, allowing him to add an extra element of surprise to his attacks. His body could theoretically wrap around anything whenever necessary to prevent escape.
Weaknesses[]
Clutch struggles to actually grab things in the first place given his stubby arms.
Clutch is known to make the user very clingy, sometimes causing them to refuse to let go of whatever or whoever they're grabbing.
Clutch is not immune to being grabbed by other Liabilasters.
Etymology[]
it's just the word Clutch, referencing his ability to cling to anything.
History[]
Clutch has yet to show up in the Trixters.
Trivia[]
- Clutch was designed in part by Cubey, TheHedgeMan, and yafavtransgal during a game of Gartic Phone (specifically Exquisite Corpse). TheHedgeMan made the head, Cubey made the torso & yafavtransgal made the legs.
- If Clutch was ever animated, he would just be a still image cut up & shifted around for movement like a paper puppet, akin to the animation of the Witches in Madoka Magica
- Various names were considered for Clutch, including Bearhug, where my hug at❗❗❗, Glarehug, and Cumberclutch
