Citronians are a sapient species from the planet Zeztee from the Trixters Universe. They are also the dominant species.
Appearance[]
Citronians resemble cartoon oranges with large, human-like hands. They have two round eyes with eyebags underneath of varying sizes. They have cross-like pupils. Their eye colour comes in various shades of red, orange and yellow, although the most common is yellow.
History[]
The Citronians had an incredibly advanced society at one point. However, after several hundred catastophic crashes happened in just under eight years, the government decided to disband completely for the "greater good of society", telling everyone to never step foot near the cities ever again. This policy happened around 653 years ago, and is known as the Absolute Collapse to historians.
Citronians are divided into two "factions". There are the ones who were forced out of society by the government, who now live in a primitive level of society. These people are the majority. Then, there's the ones who guard the cities, stopping anyone and everyone from entering. These people were either members of the former government or the extreme upper class. The "primitive folk" are only allowed into the cities for 3 days every year to celebrate Drei-Drayn: a brief period in the year where the planet doesn't rain.
Citronians used to have contact with their neighbouring species, the Orgulon, but they have since cut off all contact with them and any other planets they used to be in contact with.
Behavior[]
Citronians are extremely intelligent and are always trying to express themselves through their creations. Thanks to their engineering prowess, Citronians have become incredibly resourceful and use machinery for practically every facet of life. Their creations have become significantly less advanced since their societal collapse, but they are still impressive nonetheless.
Citronians are not territorial in the slightest. In fact, they're quite the opposite. When two groups of Citronians meet, they often merge together into one larger group for the sake of survival and "strength in numbers". Most groups dream of becoming large enough to overthrow those who guard their former technology, but these plans have yet to come to fruition.
There are a few Citronians who still live on Orgulon, unaware of the current state of their planet.
Diet[]
Due to being plantlife, Citronians feed primarily via photosynthesis. However, they can digest food through their skin slowly. Digesting crushed up/smaller food is easier for them.
Powers and Abilities[]
Citronians are incredibly intelligent. Not quite as smart as the likes of the Galvan & Cerebrocrustaceans, but still fairly bright.
Citronians have advanced engineering skills, capable of turning just a few objects into advanced contraptions.
Citronians possess enhanced culinary skills. They are known for primarily making soups since they are the easiest thing for them to digest.
Weaknesses[]
Citronian bodies are edible, meaning anything that could eat them can & probably will.
Citronians tend to overwork themselves a lot, so they are incredibly tired a lot of the time.
