Chromastone is the Infinimatrix's DNA sample of a Crystalsapien from the planet Petropia in Ben 10: Protector of the Omniverse. He is the Timeline 1 equivalent of the canon Chromastone.
Contents
Appearance
Chromastone has his Alien Force/Ultimate Alien appearance, but, like his second Omniverse appearance, the shards on his head and back are longer. His shoulders are bigger and he now has one shard on each of his shoulders and legs, as well as two shards on each of his arms and on either side of his head. His arms are thicker and his mouth is green. His colors match the color palette of Heroes United.
Transformation Sequence
Ben slams down the Infinimatrix's dial and is engulfed in a green light.
As the transformation track begins playing, Ben hovers in a dark green background with light green bubbles pulsating rapidly behind him.
Powers and Abilities
Chromastone has the ability to allow many types of energy, such as lasers, electricity, mana, and radiation to phase through his body without harm.
Chromastone can absorb and channel energy into ultraviolet beams powerful enough to melt through a truck trailer and destroy an entire turret. He can fire these beams from either his hands or from the nine shards on his body and can project these beams as either energy blasts or projectiles.
Chromastone can absorb kinetic energy from a moving target, causing it to stop in its tracks.
Chromastone can absorb heat from the air as well as from living beings, reducing their temperature. However, this may cause them to die of hypothermia if Chromastone absorbs too much.
Chromastone can control the intensity of his energy attacks, and the amount of power his ultraviolet beams have depends on how powerful the energy from an opponent's attack is.
Chromastone is able to allow energy attacks to simply bounce off his body instead of absorbing them.
Chromastone can free himself from mana force fields simply by touching them (absorbing the mana). He can also produce energy shields of his own for extra defense.
Chromastone can use his energy to dissolve an Arachnichimp's webs should he be ensnared by them.
As well as being immune to electricity, Chromastone can also conduct it back at the attacker. Chromastone can project a beam of light from his hands for illumination purposes. He can also shoot his energy blasts without absorbing anything, but only to a limited extent.
Chromastone is capable of jumping exceptionally high.
Chromastone possesses enhanced durability thanks to his very dense and crystalline skin, which allows him to withstand being thrown against several vehicles at once.
Chromastone possesses enhanced strength, allowing him to overpower stronger opponents. Technically speaking, he is physically stronger than Methanosians.
Due to him being made of silicon-based crystals, Chromastone is immune to a Xenocite merging with him.
Chromastone can survive in the vacuum of space.
If a big enough light source were to shine through him, Chromastone can create a big, beautiful rainbow in the sky.
Weaknesses
Although Chromastone is highly durable, he is not completely indestructible, as he can be shattered by extreme force.
Chromastone is unable to absorb energy when he is either not expecting it or too weak to do so. He is also unable to absorb electricity while it is being conducted by water.
Chromastone has a limit to how much energy he can absorb at once.
Magic can harm Chromastone.
Chromastone's ultraviolet beams are ineffective against certain objects.
Despite his enhanced strength, there is a limit to how strong Chromastone is. Technically speaking, Chromastone is physically weaker than Vaxasaurians.
Chromastone can be controlled by Vladites via their Corrupturas.
Chromastone cannot absorb gooey substances, such as the plasma generated by members of Ball Weevil's species.
