Chromastone is the Infinimatrix's DNA sample of a Crystalsapien from the planet Petropia in Ben 10: Protector of the Omniverse. He is the Timeline 1 equivalent of the canon Chromastone.
Appearance[]
Chromastone has his Alien Force/Ultimate Alien appearance, but, like his second Omniverse appearance, the shards on his head and back are longer. His shoulders are bigger, and he now has one shard on each of his shoulders and legs, as well as two shards on each of his arms and on either side of his head. His arms are thicker, and his mouth is green. His colors match the color palette of Heroes United.
Transformation Sequence[]
Ben slams down the Infinimatrix's dial and is engulfed in a green light.
As the transformation track begins playing, Ben hovers in a dark green background with light green bubbles pulsating rapidly behind him.
Powers and Abilities[]
Chromastone has the ability to produce rainbow-colored energy from inside his body. He can then expel it out as powerful beams from either his hands, the shards on his body, or his eye, but only to a limited extent, as he will eventually run out of energy until he absorbs more. Chromastone's beams are powerful enough to melt through a truck trailer and destroy an entire turret. Chromastone also has dynakinesis, allowing him to control the direction of his energy with extreme precision, as shown when he created a ring of energy that formed into several small scattering beams. Chromastone can also use his energy to corrupt and manipulate external sources of energy.
Chromastone can absorb kinetic energy from a moving target, causing it to stop in its tracks.
Chromastone can absorb heat from the air as well as from living beings, reducing their temperature. However, this may cause them to die of hypothermia if Chromastone absorbs too much.
Chromastone has the ability to allow nearly any kind of energy, including lasers; electricity; mana; and any type of electromagnetic radiation, from ultraviolet light to cosmic rays, to collect within or phase through his body without harm; which he can then convert into his rainbow energy. Absorbing external energy will supercharge Chromastone's beams, making them more powerful depending on what was absorbed.
Chromastone is able to redirect energy attacks instead of absorbing them.
As well as being immune to electricity, Chromastone can also conduct it back at the attacker.
Chromastone possesses enhanced strength, allowing him to overpower stronger opponents. Technically speaking, he is physically stronger than Methanosians but weaker than Vaxasaurians.
Chromastone possesses enhanced durability thanks to his very dense and crystalline skin, which allows him to withstand being thrown against several vehicles at once.
Chromastone is capable of jumping exceptionally high. He is also quite agile.
Chromastone can survive in the vacuum of space.
Due to him being made of super dense silicon-based crystals, Chromastone is immune to possession from a Xenocite.
Chromastone is resistant to intense heat.
Chromastone has the power to generate focused gamma rays and prismatic explosions.
Chromastone can project a beam of light from his hands for illumination purposes.
Chromastone can use his energy to increase the temperature of his body, to the point where he can become hot enough to dissolve an Arachnachimp's webs.
If a big enough light source were to shine through him, Chromastone can create a big, beautiful rainbow in the sky.
Weaknesses[]
Chromastone has a limit to how much energy he can absorb at once.
In addition to Chromastone having a limit to how much mana he can absorb, he also cannot absorb the energy released by an Annihilarrgh because he would be instantly disintegrated if he tried.
Chromastone can be harmed by electricity while it is being conducted by water.
Chromastone can be controlled by Vladites via their Corrupturas.
History[]
Missing Pieces[]
- Chromastone was one of the 10 aliens in Ben's new roster after the Omnitrix recalibrated in Ben 10 Returns: Part 1. He was locked upon the Omnitrix's reset at the end of War of the Worlds: Part 2.
- In Up to 11, Azmuth reunlocked Chromastone.
Appearances[]
Trivia[]
- Credits to Echoson for the infobox image.
- Unlike his canon equivalent, Chromastone does not have the ability to fly and is more resilient.
- Due to the events of The Secret of Chromastone not occurring in this timeline, Sugilite is still dead, which makes Chromastone the only Crystalsapien left in the universe.
