Chromablast is the Omnitrix's combination of Chromastone and Heatblast accessed by the faceplate falling off.

Appearance

Chromablast mostly resembles Chromastone, keeping his overall physical structure. The indigo of the rocks making up his skin is now darkened and charred, much of it broken apart to show Heatblast's lava. Any of the formerly magenta crystals coming from his body are now a dark red. His face now resembles Heatblast's serving as a sort of mask with holes for eyes.

Powers and Abilities

Chromablast, being a fusion of Chromastone and Heatblast can use both of their abilities, albeit to a weakened extent.

Chromablast can channel and absorb almost any energy directed at him and convert it into either flames or rainbow projectiles.

Chromablast has enhanced strength as well as enhanced durability thanks to his physique alongside his pyrokinetically enhanced punches.

Chromablast is cold resistant and ice proof thanks to the high temperature he produces, allowing him to thaw his way out of ice.

Chromablast is capable of flight, and can leave behind an energy trail while flying.

Along with being immune to electricity, Chromablast can also conduct it back at the attacker.

Chromablast is able to allow energy attacks to simply bounce off his body instead of absorbing them.

Chromablast can alter and warp his flames in any way he chooses.

Weaknesses

Being an incomplete fusion, Chromablast, despite not displaying any weaknesses in his debut is technically weaker than his counterparts, with weaker flames unless he absorbs energy from an outside source and his energy output without absorption is even weaker.

The amount of energy Chromablast can absorb is much lower than Chromastone's limit.

If exposed to enough water or fire-extinguishing substances, Chromablast's fire will be extinguished, though he can still heat up and reignite his fire in short amounts of time.

Because of his fiery body, on occasion, Chromablast has trouble interacting with things without burning or melting them. Similarly, he can leave scorch mark footprints on certain floors. Said fiery body also makes him a prime target for heat-sensing enemies such as cold-blooded reptiles.

Being part-Pyronite, Chromablast is vulnerable to being attacked by a Crabdozer.

History

• Chromablast first appeared in Animorphed, where he battled Dr. Animo's Mutant Frog.
