Chortle is a member of an unknown species from an unknown planet in Ben 10: Protector of the Omniverse. He is a member of the Plumbers. He is the Timeline 1 equivalent of the canon Chortle.
Appearance[]
He has his Omniverse appearance, but his colors match the color palette of Heroes United.
Personality[]
Chortle is quite lazy, preferring to do as little as possible at any given time. This is one of the reasons he likes being small-sized, as most of the small-sized Plumbers are assigned mundane tasks that do not require much effort. However, whenever he is given a task of great importance, he takes it very seriously and focuses on completing it, if only to get it over and done with.

Prior to Protector of the Omniverse[]
Chortle completed his training at the Plumbers' Academy three years prior to the beginning of the series. He was initially stationed on his home planet, before being transferred to the Bellwood branch on Earth after the base was fully built.

- Bromeba: Chortle and Bromeba were roommates at the Plumbers' Academy and graduated at the same time before going their separate ways and meeting again several years later on Earth.
