Chicolt is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of an Ornithile from the planet Maggastrr, created by SOULARCHER20.

Appearance

Chicolt has the appearance of an white, oversized chicken with his fused with his body, where his yellow beak is in the center of a large green X and his eyes under his arms. He has 3 yellow "mohawks" on his head and 3 white feathers sticking upwards on his shoulders. He wears green cuffs with yellow bands on his arms, each containing 2 green, rectangular shields on the front and back of them, and white 4 fingered human-like hands. He wears a large, silver belt with a large green buckle where the Omnitrix symbol is located at and green, round pockets running all over his belt. He wears black pants over his short legs and yellow taloned feet.

Powers and Abilities

Chicolt's primary ability is to fire powerful egg projectiles from his mouth that explode upon hitting a target. The eggs fired are extremely volatile and can cause large amounts of damage to the surrounding area. Basically, the overall strength of his eggs depends on its size, which can be manipulated by the amount of breath Chicolt takes in.

The egg projectiles Chicolt shoots out are capable of taking a variety of forms, and seemingly have different modes in the way they detonate. For example, Chicolt can fire an egg that has a timed explosion instead of exploding instantly, allowing it to bounce of surfaces for a time before exploding. Another example is spitting a grenade-like egg that can be thrown, making a more controlled explosion.

Chicolt can fire multiple eggs in a rapid succession, making up for their small size by causing multiple explosions at once, turning him into a simple mini-gun. His eggs are also capable of exploding mid-flight into smaller explosive pieces that enable a wider range of targets to be hit. He can even roll them across surfaces to knock enemies of their feet without exploding, or even create denser eggs that could pierce through steel walls.

By crossing his arms together until his shields form an X-shape, Chicolt can fire an extremely powerful blast of explosive energy that could inflict serious damage. This move acts as a last resort move as its power can knock Chicolt of balance, as well as cause him to become extremely exhausted after its execution. Additionally, it takes a while to charge up the move, leaving Chicolt vulnerable when doing so.

He is capable of using his arms to walk due to the small size of his legs. In exchange, his legs are capable of acting as his hands with skilled dexterity, giving him the ability to switch out the functions of both his arms and legs. His talons are also quite sharp and are strong enough to support his large body while he is hanging upside-down.

Despite his large size, Chicolt is actually quite agile and quick, utilising ape-like movements with his large arms. He can also deliver strong punches with his arms, and their strength can be increased by using the momentum produced by his large body. His legs are strong enough to hold a human.

Chicolt is quick durable, able to withstand blaster fire and falls from large heights. His defences are increased by the shields he wears on his arms, which are foldable and can be spun like helicopter blades. He is also immune to extreme temperatures and is unable to be damaged by his own blasts.

Because of the position of his eyes and the rotatable joints in his waist and shoulders, Chicolt's field of vision is wider. His reflexes are fast enough to react to ambushes from behind him, allowing him to create sneak attacks.

Chicolt can release a loud chicken cry, though this is mostly used as a war cry and sign of intimidation. However, it is loud enough to signal his location to allies.

Weaknesses

Chicolt has to take his breath from time to time when using his powers. In addition, overusing his egg projectiles can give him a sore throat.

As stated above, Chicolt is vulnerable to attacks while charging his X-blast. He also has a variety of other weaknesses to compensate for the power of this move.

Chicolt is extremely top-heavy, making him unstable when standing on his legs, often relying on his arms. The size of his legs also reduce his speed should he be forced to use them.

His arms can be his weak point, as Chicolt depends on them for stability and movement, meaning that attacking them can temporarily disable him due to his weight.

As his legs are short, they make swimming a difficult task for Chicolt should he be in the water.

Despite the dexterity of his leg talons, they are unable to do more specific tasks such as writing or typing on a cellphone.

Chicolt's cry can give his location due to its high pitch. He can also be forced to scream if he gets injured by significant amounts of force, also proving that his durability has a limit.

Chicolt has chicken-like traits, meaning that he can be distracted by birdseed or worms.

Due to his status as a new alien and Ben's inexperience, Chicolt can cause inadvertent damage as he has limited control over his powers. Even with experience, Chicolt must take care as he cannot control the size of his explosions.

History

• Chicolt first appeared in Number 11, where he was accidentally unlocked by Ben and failed to battle The Great Devourer and the horsemen. Later, Chicolt was used to destroy The Devourer from the inside.
• In Omni-Switched, Chicolt captured Steam Smythe's android. Later in the episode, a glitch in the Omnitrix switched Chicolt's DNA with Dummy Bag's, but was returned to normal in the end.
• In More Than You Can Chew, Ben accidentally turned into Chicolt when trying to turn into Gigobite.
• In 23 Watches, Chicolt saved Ben 23 from the Dimension 23 Red Robot's ambush.
• In Creeping-Crawler, Chicolt knocked out a half-Synthenism Lerroy using his weight.
• In Omniorigins, Chicolt defeated Apex the Predator.
• In The Deep Blue, Chicolt battled Maurice before switching into Gigobite.

Etymology

Chicolt is a combination of "Chicken"(based of his appearance) and "Bolt" (based of his powers).

Trivia

• Chicolt is the first additional alien unlocked by Ben.
  • Ben claims he is quite a dangerous alien due to his inexperience.
• Chicolt is somewhat Ben's equivalent to Cannonbolt, as their names, appearances, debut and status as Ben's first additional alien are all present within these two.
• Chicolt's chicken-like appearance and ability to fire explosive eggs are similar to Matilda from Angry Birds.
  • One of his egg's abilities to split into explosive parts is similar to C3P-Yolk, an alternate form of Matilda in Angry Birds Star Wars, who can split into multiple segments to destroy structures.
• His eggs are edible, though they are difficult to consume to to their explosive nature.
