Buddies are a species in the Trixters universe. They have no known home planet.
Appearance[]
Buddies are simple, humanoid beings with grey skin, a round head, nub arms, and nub legs with blue jeans. They wear shirts of various different colours.
History[]
Buddies' origins are a complete mystery as they have no known home planet nor any known relatives. They were first discovered on Aul-Turrhen as small, pearl-sized pellets which grew into the first known Buddies.
Buddies are now widespread across the universe. Their pearls are harvested from planets struck by comets and sold in packs of three in stores dotted around various widely populated planets like Anur Transyl in which people can buy them as servants. For instance, they are used by Evil Grape as instrumentalists. They are also used in the Galactic Court as jury and executioners.
Behaviour[]
Buddies act as servants towards other species. They communicate by saying "all my buddies" at various pitches which only they can understand.
Powers and Abilities[]
Buddies are completely immortal and invincible. This also means they cannot feel pain.
Buddies can play musical intruments well without prior training.
Buddies are incredibly annoying. Like, hellishly annoying.
Weaknesses[]
Buddies are physically weak in small amounts.
Buddies cannot speak full words.
Buddies slowly die when there are not at least two other buddies nearby.
Etymology[]
Buddy comes from the word "buddy" meaning "a close friend" as well as an inside joke centered around the song "All my Fellas".
