Summary

Prologue

After Marissa was struck by Death Dragon's fire, she was put in critical condition, and Bryce went searching for a cure. He spent a year with Project Freelancer only to discover the Director's evil intentions, with none going toward helping Marissa. This caused Bryce to kill the Director, after an immense amount of psychological torture. After that, Bryce decided he needed to leave. He wanted to disappear for a while to find a way to redeem himself of all the evil he was a part of. A man, a merchant of sorts, offered Bryce a deal that would allow him to repay his debt in exchange for being the man's servant. In his desperation, Bryce accepted and was promptly whisked away by the Infinity's teleportaion systems. Will Bryce find the redemption he seeks, or will more evil become of his rash actions?
