Brainstorm is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Cerebrocrustacean from the planet Encephalonus IV in Earth-1010.
Appearance[]
Brainstorm is an orange, four-legged crustacean with green eyes and a massive head. He can open his skull to reveal his large pink brain. He has a neck brace/belt with the Omnitrix symbol on it.
Powers and Abilities[]
Brainstorm is Ben's second smartest alien, specialising in physics and mathematics. He is capable of visualising complex angular physics, as well as accurately estimating the weight of objects and predicting the movements of his opponents based on past experience with them.
In Ben 10: Reboot Revolution Chapter 4, Brainstorm demonstrated a separate memory from his user. He retained some of Ben Prime's memory even when being used by Ben Delta.
By opening the shell over his brain, he can create green electricity. He can use this to shock enemies and telekinetically move objects, but do little else. Comparatively, Brainstorm is one of the weakest electricity aliens in the Omnitrix.
His pincers are strong enough to crush a refrigerator.
He has the ability to scale walls.
Weaknesses[]
Brainstorm's powers require concentration. Conditions such as headaches can inhibit this.
Brainstorm can be very egotistical, overestimating his own abilities in some cases.
If his shell is closed while releasing an electric attack, he will shock himself.
History[]
Death of Ben 10[]
Gwen 10 used her Cerebrocrustacean form in Chapter 11 to fight Apollo. In Chapter 12 she assessed Ben Prime's condition.
Ben 10: Reboot Revolution[]
Brainstorm was used accidentally by Ben Delta in Chapter 4. Brainstorm remembered how to use the Omnitrix thanks to his use by Ben Prime, and quickly changed him into Grey Matter.
He was used again later by Ben Prime to figure out the weakness of Time Breaker Ben in Chapter 7, when he realised Upgrade would be a useful counter to the Universal Reboot.
