Replace 'Category:Protagonists' and 'Category:Main Protagonists' with 'Category:Main Characters'

Since all three categories share the same meaning, I think the first two should be replaced with 'Category:Main Characters', as it has the highest number of pages among the three categories. I would also be fine with using 'Category:Protagonists' instead. Bottom line is, we don't need three categories that mean the same thing. Please vote if you are eligible. Voting ends in one week.

EDIT: Per Alan's comment, this suggestion now moves to merge 'Category:Protagonists' and 'Category:Main Protagonists' (into the former title) and keep 'Category:Main Characters'.

Support - While I don't agree that Protagonists should be replaced with Main Characters, I do agree that we do not need three categories for pretty much the same thing. That being said, Main Protagonists seems kinda redundant and should be deleted, in my opinion, while Protagonists could represent characters which the story focuses on mostly and Main Characters for the main cast/group of characters, essentially.

Support - I don't support replacing them both with main characters. I support using just "Protagonists" instead though. I say merge Protagonists and Main Protagonists into one, but Main Character doesn't mean the same thing because "Character" encompasses all "agonists" (protag, antag, etc). A main villain in a series is a main character but not a main protagonist.

Support - Protagonists and main protagonists are redundant, so I think we should can that. The character we root for the most is the protagonist, and it's very rare to find stories where two characters are given the same amount of plot development and the cooperation necessary to make them both protagonists. Still, there's usually only one protagonist for series, and any "lesser protagonists" are actually deuteragonists or tritagonists instead.

The final score is: 3 supports, 0 opposes and 0 neutrals. The suggestion has been approved. 'Category:Main Protagonists' will be replaced with 'Category:Protagonists', while 'Category:Main Characters' will remain, now encompassing main villains as well as main heroes.
