The Ben 10 Fan Fiction Wiki Record Book is a collection of events for users to reflect on, such as when the wiki was made, when a user joined, or when a certain event occurred.

Timeline

Generation 0 - The Beginning (November 2009 - December 2009)
On November 21, 2009, Duncan Crook was bored at his mom's birthday party and created this wiki out of sheer boredom. On the same day, Yopo joined the wiki, helping to add some of the first images onto the site and features to the main page. In December, Batking and Dove joined the wiki, adding content.

Generation 1 (January 2010 - December 2010)

User-Related Events Omi, Smallville, Charbel, Weirdo, CaT, Photon, Bink and Roads joined the wiki. Batking, Dove, Omi and Smallville were promoted to administrator and later, bureaucrat. Weirdo was promoted to bureaucrat. User Creations Roads created Ben 10: Multi Trixes, which would later become a hit. The Colossal Christmas Crossover occurred. It was the wiki's first inter-series crossover. Wiki Events Featured Alien and Featured User were introduced. Ben 10: Multi Trixes' creation caused users to gradually shift from writing in paragraph format to dialogue format.

Generation 2 (January 2011 - December 2011)

User-Related Events Roads was promoted to administrator and later, bureaucrat. Ancy, Lumin, Brian, Redo, Brandon, Solo, ET, Sub, Paper, Steve, Jack, Toon, Sklei, Mig, Plasma and Zon joined the wiki. Bink, Ancy, Brian and Solo were promoted to administrator. Smallville was demoted from bureaucrat to chat moderator. Lumin was promoted to bureaucrat. Plasma and Redo were promoted to chat moderator and later, administrator. ET was promoted to chat moderator. User Creations Ben 10: Ultimate Alien MEGATRIX was created by ET and later became the Featured Series of the Year. It ended its run in November. Ben 10: Eternal Forms was created by Bink. Ben 10: Multi Trixes ended its run. Ben 10: MEGA Alien, the sequel to Ben 10: Ultimate Alien MEGATRIX, was created. Wiki Events Featured Series and Featured Picture were introduced. The Page Creation Portal was created. The first ever Alien Fest, Cannonbolt Fest, was created by Omi, beginning a long-standing tradition.

Generation 3 (January 2012 - December 2012)

User-Related Events Chrono, Nick, Dyloxx, Cyber, Sci, Ahmad, Lego, Bry, Ermac, Speedy, Ethan, Sol, Ulti and Dark joined the wiki. Paper and Sub were promoted to chat moderator and later, administrator. Plasma was promoted to administrator and later, bureaucrat. Nick, Sci, Toon, Sklei, Speedy and Zon were promoted to chat moderator. ET, Smallville and Zon were demoted from chat moderator. Paper was demoted from administrator. User Creations Ben 10,000: Multi Trixes, the sequel to Ben 10: Multi Trixes, was created. Ben 10: MEGA Alien was canceled. Ben 10: Protector of the Omniverse was created by Ulti. Tech 10: Rebooted was created by CaT. Young Plumbers was created by Paper and later won Featured Series of the Year. Wiki Events Way Big Fest and Upgrade Fest occured. Fanon Con was introduced by Roads, occurring in the Spring, Summer and Winter.

Generation 4 (January 2013 - December 2013)

User-Related Events Speedy, Sklei and Photon were demoted from chat moderator. Ultra, Echo, Tammar, Street, Silly and Dragon joined the wiki. Photon, Brandon, Ulti, Cyber, Ermac and Ultra were promoted to chat moderator. Brian was promoted to bureaucrat. Nick and Sci were promoted to administrator. Ancy, Redo and Solo were demoted from administrator. Batking, Dove, Lumin, Omi and Weirdo were demoted from bureaucrat. Lego was promoted to administrator. Ermac was demoted from chat moderator. User Creations The BTFF Cinematic Universe was created, with its entire slate of movies being released during the year. Young Plumbers ended its run. Young Plumbers: Generations, the sequel to Young Plumbers, was created. Ben 10: Heroes of Evolution was created by TJ. Ben 10: Protector of the Omniverse won Featured Series of the Year. Wiki Events Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter Fanon Con 2013 occurred. The BTFF Multiverse was created, originally housing 52 Earths. The Omniverse Awards were introduced by Ulti and was held for the first time. The Record Book was thought of by Speedy, and was subsequently created by Sci. Goop Fest and XLR8 Fest occurred.

Generation 5 (January 2014 - December 2014)

User-Related Events Dill, Shades and Charmcaster joined the wiki. Bink and Nick were demoted from administrator. Sci was promoted to bureaucrat. Ahmad, Dark and Echo were promoted to chat moderator. Cyber, Dark and Ultra were demoted from chat moderator. User Creations Ben 10,000: Multi Trixes was canceled and removed from the continuity of its prequel. Mig X was created by Mig and ended its run in October. Ben 10: Heroes of Evolution won Featured Series of the Year. Wiki Events 2014 - A Year of Change was introduced by Sci in an effort to make major updates to the wiki, beginning a tradition. The Ultimate Guide to a New User was created. Featured Picture was phased out, being replaced by Featured Character. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter Fanon Con 2014 occurred. Fanon Con became a weekend event, and the Writing Contest was introduced. Ester Sunday, 'parody' of Easter Sunday, was celebrated for the first time. Rath Fest and Chromastone Fest occurred. The Omniverse Awards for 2014 were held. The archiving process for canon pages began. The BTFF Multiverse was expanded past 52 Earths.

Generation 6 (January 2015 - December 2015)

User-Related Events Lego and Paper were demoted from administrator. Ulti, Ahmad, Toon and Yopo were promoted to administrator. Brian and Roads were demoted from bureaucrat. Bat joined the wiki. Echo stepped down from chat moderator. Bry, Mig and Jack were promoted to chat moderator. Brandon was demoted from chat moderator. User Creations Tech 10: Rebooted ended its run. Mig X: Revolution, the sequel to Mig X, was created. Wiki Events 2015 - A Year of Community was introduced, focusing on bringing the community together to make the wiki better. Featured Object was introduced and was later phased out. Ester Sunday 2015 was celebrated. Ditto Fest and Clockwork Fest occurred. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter Fanon Con 2015 occurred. The Omniverse Awards for 2015 were held.

Generation 7 (January 2016 - December 2016)

User-Related Events Ahmad and Sub stepped down from administrator. Mig and CaT were promoted to administrator and later, bureaucrat. Waybig, Rex, Aaron, Thax, WTB, Primal and Creeper joined the wiki. Sci stepped down from bureaucrat. Bry and Jack were demoted from chat moderator. Ulti, Toon and Yopo were promoted to bureaucrat. Duncan, Toon and Yopo were demoted from bureaucrat. User Creations Tech 10: Star Spirit was created by CaT and later became the Featured Series of the Year. BTFF RPG, the first fully-playable video game on the wiki, was created and released by CaT. Aaronbill3's Alien Arsenal! became the wiki's most popular source for free-usage aliens in a relatively short period of time. Bomb 2 Hell won Featured Alien of the Year. Terox won Featured Character of the Year. Wiki Events 2016 - A Year of Unity was introduced, focused on uniting the community. Profanity was allowed on mainspace pages with the use of a template. The wiki was spotlighted. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter Fanon Con 2016 occurred. Ester Sunday was phased out. Chamalien Fest and Fasttrack Fest occurred. Administrator names and comments were given custom formatting to differentiate them from regular users. Timers were added to give people with stub articles time to expand them before they get deleted, massively affecting cleanup in a positive way. The Chain of Gifts was introduced by CaT and occurred twice to promote kindness among users. The Omniverse Awards for 2016 were held. BTFF EX, the wiki's sister site, was created. BotBot Bot, the wiki's official cleanup bot, was created by CaT. TV-MA content was allowed on the wiki, albeit with some restrictions. The Spooktober Horror Contest was introduced by CaT. Off-site communities for the wiki were created on DeviantArt, Dubtrack and Steam. Tooltips and Advanced Tooltips were added to the wiki, making it easier than ever to display custom information while hovering over text. Badges began to be renovated.

Generation 8 (January 2017 - December 2017)

User-Related Events Plasma was demoted from bureaucrat. Aaron was promoted to Content Moderator. Killjoy joined the wiki. User Creations Ben 10: Reboot Revolution was created by Aaron and later won Featured Series of the Year. E-10: The Series was created by Ethan. Tech 10: Star Spirit ended its run. The Mig 10 Franchise released its franchise finale. Alien Biology with CaT was created by CaT. Butterfly Reflect won Featured Alien of the Year. Divara won Featured Character of the Year. CaT Reviews: Age of Division! won Featured Episode of the Year. Wiki Events 2017 - A Year of Ambition was introduced, with the goal of inspiring users to have the ambition to do more on the wiki and in their lives. Featured Episode was introduced. Medals were implemented to reward users for winning contests. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter Fanon Con 2017 occurred. The wiki's official Discord server was created. Chain of Gifts 3 and 4 occurred. Heatblast Fest and Lodestar Fest occurred. The Omniverse Awards for 2017 were held. The Spooktober Horror Contest 2: Alienation occurred.

Generation 9 (January 2018 - December 2018)

User-Related Events CaT and Mig stepped down from bureaucrat. Brandon and Shades were promoted to administrator and later, bureaucrat. Lt. Omni, Carth, Boaring, Wolf, and Daph joined the wiki. Aaron was promoted to administrator and later, bureaucrat. Brandon, Shades and Ulti stepped down from bureaucrat. CaT and Ulti were promoted to bureaucrat. User Creations E-10: Horizons was created by Ethan. Ben 10: Reboot Revolution released its series finale. Ben 10: ExOS was created by Carth. Ben 10: Time's End was created by Alan. Project Deca, a series dedicated to the wiki's 10th anniversary, was created by CaT. Alien Biology with CaT won Featured Series of the Year. Rollback won Featured Alien of the Year. Richard Nomaly won Featured Character of the Year. Burning Bridges won Featured Episode of the Year. Wiki Events 2018 - A Year of Renovation was introduced, focused on updating the wiki to fit modern standards. Planet Chaturn, Wikia's official chatroom for the wiki, was disabled. The wiki's official Discord server began following the TV-MA blacklist instead of the general one. Alien Fest became a two-week seasonal event instead of a one-week bi-annual one. Eye Guy Fest, Brainstorm Fest, Overflow Fest and Ghostfreak Fest occurred. Chain of Gifts 5 and 6 occurred, but the latter was canceled partway through. BTFF EX was deleted. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter Fanon Con 2018 occured. Overall Writing for Fanon Con was replaced with the Character Creation Contest. The Omniverse Awards for 2018 were held. Spooktober Horror Contest 3: Cold Case 411 was announced but was canceled due to lack of participants.

Generation 10 (January 2019 - December 2019)

User-Related Events Benmummy, Grounder, Laundry and Dreamer joined the wiki. User Creations Wiki Events 2019 - A Year of Modernization was introduced. Much like the Year of Renovation, it was focused on updating the wiki to fit modern standards. Big Chill Fest, Echo Echo Fest, Gutrot Fest and Shock Rock Fest occurred. Spring, Summer and Fall Fanon Con 2019 occurred. Both writing contests for Fanon Con were merged, with the Alien Creation Contest taking the extra spot. The Omniverse Awards for 2019 were held.
