Ben 10/Justice League: The Series is a series that follows Ben Tennyson and his team, the Galactic Guardians. They are a band of outlaws-turned-heroes who have been traveling in space before eventually settling down on Earth and meeting its primary band of heroes, the Justice League. They join forces, with the Galactic Guardians subsequently becoming members of the Justice League. This series is set in a shared universe that mixes and matches different concepts from the Ben 10 franchise, DC Comics, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.
Plot[]
Ben Tennyson was only ten years old when he found a strange device that crash-landed on Earth. A few days later, he was in a car with his parents, Carl and Sandra Tennyson, when their car crashed in a fiery explosion. The explosion killed his parents and knocked him unconscious. When he woke up, he found himself aboard a ship, and met its pilot Tetrax Shard, a mercenary who had saved him from two alien bounty hunters that kidnapped him off Earth for the device he found. Tetrax then introduced Ben to Rook Blonko, a fellow orphan he adopted following the destruction of his homeworld Revonnah, and the two became adoptive brothers. Tetrax mentored Ben on how to use the device, called the Omnitrix, with which he could transform into alien lifeforms via the DNA stored inside, while Rook learned how to use the Proto-Tool, a tool that could become any tool its user desires.
As the two grew older, and began doing things on their own from Tetrax, they had many adventures in space, which would lead them to meeting Titano, an uplifted chimpanzee launched into space by NASA, Zeno, an exiled Triceraton partnered with Titano, and Ester, a half-human and half-Kraaho who would fall in love with Ben for a time. The five would band together to become the Galactic Guardians, continuing to travel the cosmos and eventually, transition from a band of misfit outlaws to fully-fledged heroes. Then Ben lost the Omnitrix, and in its place, got a new, better, device known as the Ultimatrix, granting access to Ultimate forms of his aliens.
Eight years after Ben left his homeworld, the Galactic Guardians followed a lead which eventually brought them to Earth. There, the Galactic Guardians would encounter the Justice League, a team of superheroes that formed to protect that world, in circumstances that saw the two teams join forces. Afterward, the Galactic Guardians stuck around on Earth, with Ben adjusting to living on Earth again as he and his team now become members of the Justice League.
