Balloo is the Omnitrix's DNA Sample of a Bouncy from the Planet Rubbound.
Appearance[]
Balloo is somewhat similar to this scene of Reboot Cannonbolt's Transformation Sequence, except his limbs are more akin to Kirby's and his overall design is more rubber like. The Omnitrix Hourglass takes up most of his design, and the actual medallion is mounted on his stomach.
Powers And Abilities[]
Balloo's primary ability involves him being able to retract his limbs and assuming a spherical form and ricocheting around to damage foes. While his limbs are tucked in, he can roll around to move, though any rolling attacks are inferior to Cannonbolt's.
Due to the nature of his attacks, Balloo is nigh-indestructable, akin to an Atrocian, able to bounce through lava, ice, electricity without feeling any pain. Even his fixed face is immune to these.
Despite his short limbs, he has a degree of enhanced dexterity.
Weaknesses[]
Balloo, despite his appearance, is organic, so he is vulnerable to getting destroyed by a Chronosapien Time Bomb.
Balloo's face is exposed when bouncing, making it easy to target, especially when his face is incapable of moving from its fixed spot to prevent pain during rolling.
Balloo is rather top heavy in his limbed form, making him rather unstable, much like Cannonbolt.
Balloo can bounce out of control if he's not careful.
Trivia[]
- Balloo went through several changed concepts,
- As Poliwag The Blogger had just finished making a Beyblade based on the Antlia constellation, he wanted to make an alien with pump related powers (based on the shockwave Armodrillo used against Crabdozer in Malefactor), but this got changed to being a bouncy ball, primarily based on Kirby's Ball ability.
- His name also implies balloon abilities, but the only one possible was due to
- Originally, as a reference to Bounce Man from Mega Man 11 (who provides Bounce Ball), he would have Slapback like duplication powers, but this was removed due to ability oversaturation.
- Balloo’s design had a slightly distorted motif due to wanting to avoid negative Feedback as it resembled Electrode in terms of design basis, which had a lazy design.
- Like Buzzshock, his voice has a helium filter.
