Azmuth is a hero in Ben 10: Missing Pieces and Ben 10: Protector of the Omniverse. He first appeared in The Monster. He was a Galvan from the planet Galvan Mark II and the creator of the Omnitrix, along with numerous other inventions and creations. He was the Timeline 1 equivalent of the canon Azmuth.
Appearance[]
Azmuth had his original series appearance, but with two tendrils on each side of his head. The bronze-colored plating on his outfit was golden instead. His colors match the color palette of Heroes United.
Personality[]
Azmuth was very paranoid, as evidenced by the amount of work he put into hiding his home from the rest of the universe. He was a bit impolite. He originally refused to repair the Omnitrix in Secret of the Omnitrix, and was willing to let the universe get destroyed.
Azmuth was very pessimistic, unwilling to shut down the Omnitrix's self-destruct at first, despite it meaning the destruction of the universe. The reason why is that he simply didn't believe the universe was worth saving. This is because he invented the Omnitrix so the aliens of the universe would have a better understanding of each other, but other people like Vilgax only wanted to use it as a weapon of war.
Over time, Azmuth had become less pessimistic and more serious. He became more concerned about the safety of the universe and his planet, Galvan Prime. He also spent considerable time mixing into the Galvan society as well as developing the complete defense system of Galvan Mark II.
History[]
Prior to Missing Pieces[]
As a tadpole he achieved a perfect score on his GATs before he became the first thinker.
As he grew older, Azmuth began to dedicate himself to peaceful science, eventually creating the Omnitrix, hoping to create a means for the races of the galaxy to live in harmony. He used the Omnitrix's Scan Mode to gather the DNA of thousands of species over hundreds of years.
Azmuth was also involved in the creation of the Galvanic Mechamorphs.
Azmuth had observed all of Ben's activities through secret devices on the Omnitrix well before he met him.
Azmuth went through the same events as his canon equivalent, as depicted in Secret of the Omnitrix and Destroy All Aliens.
Missing Pieces[]
In The Monster, Malware, a Galvanic Mechamorph whose life code was corrupted and incomplete, traveled to the Galvan homeworld Galvan Prime and demanded his cure. When Azmuth refused, Malware kidnapped Myaxx, and stole Azmuth's unfinished cure, a secondary Helix. On the way to Galvan B to stop Malware and save Myaxx, Azmuth revealed to Ben and Max his hand in the creation of the Galvanic Mechamorphs through his experiment, with the intent of making Galvan B habitable. He also revealed he had been working for many years on trying to heal Malware. On Galvan B, Malware forced Myaxx to connect the secondary Helix to the primary Helix, which he used in hopes of curing himself. Myaxx sabotaged the Helix in an attempt to destroy the Mechamorph, but the attempt only enhanced Malware's body, transforming him into an even more ferocious creature. He was eventually trapped in crystal by Ben as Diamondhead. A week later, Malware was moved to Primus, and Azmuth briefed Tetrax and Gluto, who volunteered to keep watch of Malware, about what was expected of them.
Azmuth went through the same events as his canon equivalent as depicted in the episodes Good Copy, Bad Copy, War of the Worlds: Part 1 and War of the Worlds: Part 2.
Immediately after War of the Worlds: Part 2, Azmuth began working with Myaxx and the remaining Galvans to rebuild what was left of Galvan Prime into Galvan Mark II. He also briefly returned to Xenon with Myaxx to collect some of his old belongings.
In Up to 11, Albedo, armed with a new device named the Antitrix, came to Galvan Mark II to demand that Azmuth restore his original form. Azmuth refused, saying that he did not trust him. Albedo then became hostile and started destroying some of Azmuth's equipment. Myaxx teleported Ben, Gwen and Kevin to Azmuth's lab as backup. Ben fought Albedo while Gwen and Kevin heard the story of how the Galvans built Galvan Mark II after the Highbreed destroyed the original Galvan Prime. Gwen persuaded Azmuth to help Albedo return to his original form, saying that he would do no further harm once he achieved his goal. Azmuth eventually agreed and they interrupted Ben and Albedo's fight to deliver the news. Azmuth explained that he did not have the time or patience to build what was necessary to restore his original form, but he could instead unlock the Galvan sample in the Omnitrix and sync the Antitrix with the Omnitrix so that Albedo would gain access to the sample. Albedo reluctantly agreed and Azmuth did what was necessary. Shortly after Albedo turned into a Galvan, he mutated due to the low-quality components he used to build the Antitrix. Ben tried to cure him with the Omnitrix, but was unsuccessful. Blinded by rage, Albedo started blaming Ben, but Ben quickly defended himself, saying he had nothing to do with his decision to create the Antitrix and that he could still make a better future for himself. Impressed with Ben's wisdom, Azmuth re-unlocked all of Ben's previously-used aliens except for Feedback and left the room with Albedo.
Sometime later, Azmuth started making upgrades to Galvan Mark II's security.
Powers and Abilities[]
Even by the super-intelligent Galvan standards, Azmuth's mental prowess is considered worlds apart from the rest of his race. He is well-regarded as the smartest being in the universe (or at least 3 to 5 galaxies). He is often referred to by his Galvan peers as "First Thinker."
Along with his intelligence, Azmuth was gifted with years of experience and knowledge.
Azmuth was a skilled inventor, having created numerous inventions, his greatest being the Omnitrix.
Because he created the Omnitrix, Azmuth knew all about its functions.
Equipment[]
Azmuth once used a robotic suit that he wore when he first encountered Ben.
Weaknesses[]
Despite being the smartest being in three (arguably five) galaxies, Azmuth could be reckless at times, and did not at times plan ahead.
Like all Galvans, his small size made him physically vulnerable to larger foes.
Relationships[]
Other[]
- Albedo: While Azmuth once saw Albedo as a trusted ally, by the time of his death, he had lost all respect for him and was disappointed at him for all he had done since he stopped working for him.

Azmuth's Known Inventions[]
Name | Information |
---|---|
Unitrix | A prototype model of the Omnitrix. At first, Azmuth intended to store the DNA in separate containers, however the idea was discarded for something that could store/hide/collect DNA, keep track of collected DNA, make it easier to safeguard and, if necessary, revive dead species more easily. (Primus, Volaticus biopsis) The Omnitrix introduced the idea of walking in the shoes of other lifeforms. |
Omnitrix | Azmuth's greatest invention. Allows the user to transform into many different aliens. Created as a device to allow one to understand other species better, its power was seen as a weapon by many, including Vilgax. Originally was to be entrusted to Max, but was found by Bem. |
Codon Stream | DNA database. |
Volaticus biopsis | Mosquito-like creatures created by Azmuth to collect DNA from aliens for the Codon Stream. They live on Primus. |
Primus | A planet illegally created by Azmuth which contains the Codon Stream. Acts as a database for alien DNA, unconnected to the Omnitrix and Infinimatrix. Its location can be changed to keep it hidden or in the case of being compromised. |
Galvan Mark II | After the Highbreed invasion, Azmuth and the other Galvans built Galvan Mark II using the remaining pieces of the original Galvan Prime. |
Helix | An experiment in the hopes of making Galvan B inhabitable for colonization. It lead to creating the Galvanic Mechamorphs and Malware. He had been working on creating a second helix to cure Malware's condition, but it was stolen and upgraded Malware having lasting effects to this day. |
Galvanic Mechamorphs | In an experiment to make Galvan B habitable for colonization using his helix, he accidentally brought the Galvanic Mechamorphs into existence. This ended his plans of colonization of Galvan B. |
Mechamorph Armor | A suit of armor that allows the user to become a Galvanic Mechamorph, unfortunately, a single flaw "pumps up the user's aggression" and makes them almost feral. |
