The second season of Attack on To'kustar will begin with the release of the series premiere Capital on July 7, 2017. The season was announced on April 17, 2017, when the titles of the first chapter and first episode were released, along with the start date of the season.
On May 15, 2017, it was confirmed that the second season would consist of 24 episodes, grouped into six chapters.

Unlike the first season, the chapters of season two are not named in any specific way. The six chapters of season two are: The Princess and the Nobles, A Dangerous To'kustar in the Capital, An Aterian Homecoming, Night of the Transformations, The Lake Beyond the Walls, and History of the Past and Future.
