Aronne, better know as Aron, was a character of the A-B10's Saga, first appeared in "Light Hope" as holographic projection made by Light Hope to explain the succession of the Infinite's line. He was a Eternians and the previous known Infinite before Ben Tennyson. He was chosen by Eternia to be Infinite.

Appearance

How Aron looked every time he transformed into Infinite.

Aron had a tall, muscular build (due to his years in the military), his hair was disheveled and an intense brown color, he sported a light beard, and his eyes were bright yellow.

Normal

He was wearing a bicep-length short-sleeved crew-neck yellow t-shirt, which was tucked into his slim-fit khaki trousers pulled up to his waist, covered by a black leather jacket with a stylized planet Eternia, the symbol of infinity and the flag of Eternos. He also had a black belt, with several gray utility pockets. He had black fingerless gloves to match his calf-high boots. The Bracelet of Infinity was located on his left wrist.

Infinite

Aron's face was completely covered by a sturdy golden helmet, topped with a bunch of red feathers. He wore a full-body black tunic, covered in golden armor, plates, and boots. In some parts without armor, red facings were also visible, tied to the red kilt on the front. He also wore a leather belt.

Personality

By Madame Razz's admission, Aron was brave and loyal but also proud and overconfident.

According to Light Hope, Aron was too stubborn to leave behind the emotions mixed with his new duty as Champion. Light Hope also said that Aron was brought down by faulty reasoning, which led him to sever Infinite's line and help Mara to drag Etheria into the empty dimension of Despondos along.

In a hologram, Aron is seen bitter and sad. He states that being part of the Infinite's line was a great honor for him at first, but that in the end it turned out to be just an illusion. Since Razz often mistook him and Mara for Ben and Adora, Aron was aware of their existence and was convinced that they could have done much better.

In the various flashbacks of "Eroi", Aron is revealed to be carefree and fun-loving, but also strong and protective. He became good friends with Mara (although he implied in "Il Cuore (Parte I)" that he felt more), Light Hope (whom, like Mara, he treated like a person and not a hologram), and Madame Razz (even though she had difficulty understanding what he meant at times). Aron appreciated Etheria, especially after Razz showed him the true meaning of Infinite. He sincerely believed in what the people of Eternia were doing on Etheria, despite having been kept in the dark by most of the Heart of Etheria project.

Story

Background

Early Life

Aron was born in Eternos, on the planet Eternia, more than a thousand years ago.

When he came of age, Aron joined the ranks of the Eternos army. Here he trained as a soldier and later as a pilot in the Royal Air Force.

Becoming Infinite

During his soldier career, Aron was chosen by the Eternian to continue Infinite's line. He was entrusted with the Bracelet of Infinity and was joined in his new task by Mara, the Princess of Eternos and the new She-Ra, and by Light Hope, the artificial intelligence developed together in conjunction with the completion of the Heart of Etheria (weapon to fight Horde Prime).

Subsequently, Aron and Mara were sent to Etheria, Eternia's sister planet, to study its magic and its inhabitants, where they met and befriended the enigmatic Madame Razz. During this time, the First Ones used Light Hope to train Aron and Mara in their secret project. While on Etheria, Aron and Mara became close friends as they discussed magic and their mission with Razz and Light Hope.

The Discovery of the Truth

At some point, Aron and Mara learned the Heart's true purpose. Fearing the consequences, they formed a rebel group called the Heroes of Grayskull and led a revolt against the Eternian, with Aron leading the attack on Eternia in an attempt to block the project while Mara attempted to take over the security system located in Arxia. However, the two units were defeated on both fronts and were decimated well before the plan succeeded. Aron, the only survivor together with Mara, fled with his spaceship to Etheria, while Mara abandoned the Sword of Protection in the Whispering Woods and reached Razz's hut. After bidding Razz a final farewell and taking flight in the spaceship, Aron shot the Bracelet of Infinity out of orbit and Mara activated the portal that brought Etheria to Despondos.

Afterwards, when the spaceship crashed in the Crimson Waste, Aron died with Mara.

Ultimate Princesses of Power Alien

Season 3

Aron makes his first physical appearance alongside Mara in "Mondi im-perfetti (Parte II)", as a side effect of the reality distortion caused by the portal. During the event, Aron has his first and only face-off with the Best Friends Squad and the Alien Force at the foot of a restored Crystal Castle.

Season 5

While trying to navigate the illusory labyrinth of the Crystal Castle in "Il Cuore (Parte I)", Ben has an astral interaction with Aron. Although Ben assumes he has failed, Aron praises him for continuing to be the hero the universe needs but also urges him not to be just a mere sacrifice, so that he doesn't make the same mistakes as him, telling him that he too deserves to find happiness. Before disappearing Aron tells Ben that he is proud to have had him as his successor, then dissolves while sipping a Mr. Smoothy.

Powers and abilities

Powers

• Powers via Bracelet of Infinity:
  • Transformation: Using the Bracelet of Infinity, Aron could transform into the legendary warrior known as Infinite, becoming taller and more muscular in the process. Through this action, he obtained the following abilities:
    • Enhanced Strength: Once transformed, Aron was stronger than any other Eternian, being able to easily dent tanks without much trouble.
    • Enhanced Durability: Like Infinite, Aron was more likely to survive powerful attacks. His resistance, however, had a limit.
    • Enhanced Agility: Aron had demonstrated the ability to make incredible leaps while transformed.
    • Space Survival: In his Infinite form, he could travel in the vacuum of space without the assistance of a space suit.
    • The Heart of Etheria: Since Infinite is the key to Etheria's heart, Aron was connected to it.

Abilities

• Military Training
  • Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Aron was a cunning and intelligent fighter, having been trained in the Eternos militias.
  • Enhanced Reflexes: Aron had developed good reflexes, being able to easily dodge joint strikes.
  • Piloting Proficiency: Aron had impressive flying skills, developed during and after training.
  • Survival: Aron was able to adapt and survive in a variety of environments.

Equipment

• Bracelet of Infinity: Aron was the owner of the Bracelet of Infinity, which gave him the power to modify his physical body to transform into various alien creatures.
  • Aliens Features: When transformed into an alien, Aron acquired all the characteristics of the creature, including his appearance, voice, all his unique and special abilities and powers, strengths and weaknesses. While he mostly retained his personality, there were a few cases where the transformation caused a change in it, such as in the case of the Appoplexian form.
  • Healing Powers: The Bracelet of Infinity allowed Aron a modicum of healing power.
  • Animal Transformation: Aron could, through the power of the runestone, change animals into magical beasts.

Weaknesses

• Endurance Limit: Aron's stamina had a limit.
• Eternians's Artifact/Corrupted Virus: While not approved, it is possible that Aron would have gone into a violent berserker rage had he come into contact with the data disk.
• Bracelet of Infinity: Aron was the owner of the Bracelet of Infinity, which gave him the power to modify his physical body to transform into various alien creatures.
  • Aliens Features: In addition to gaining the selected alien's powers and strengths, he also gained its weaknesses. Sometimes, the natural biological behavior of some aliens could prevail over Aron's behavior, such as the reproductive phase of the Necrofriggians or the flowering process of the Methanosians.
  • Alien Forms Training: Without proper training and training, Aron would not have been able to fight through the alien forms.
  • Missing Knowledge: Despite being chosen to continue the Infinite's line, Aron did not know all of the Bracelet of Infinity's functions. One of these functions was the activation of the Heart of Etheria.

Trivia

• The name Aronne means "bringer of martyrs", but is also linked to various Hebrew terms that can be translated as "enlightened", "brilliant", "exalted", "high mountain" or "montano", "coming from the mountain".
  • It is much more often connected to the term Aron ("ark").
• His original appearance was based on Ben Tennyson from Ben 10: 5 Years Later.

  

  The original design

• Unlike Mara, Aron was not the first to use the Bracelet of Infinity, as the Eternians built it long ago.
• Like Ben, Aron had given names to every alien form.
• Aron had a dominant color, namely yellow. The thing unites him with Ben, although he had the green.
• It is very likely that, in a confrontation with only normal alien forms, Aron would have prevailed over Ben.
  • It should be clarified, however, that he could not compete with the Ultimate Forms or the Galvanic Mechamorphs due to the fact that he did not know them.
• Aron's character is comparable to that of Ben 10'000 of Ben 10.
• The last sentence Aron says to Ben («Goodbye, Ben 10. And thanks for all the smoothies.») is a reference to "So Long and Thanks for All the Smoothies".
