Archytaur is an alien created by CaT that is free for anyone to use as long as they give proper credit.
Abilities[]
Archytaur has the ability to fire horn-tipped bone projectiles from the "bow" at the end of his tail with a shooting power of up to five tons depending on the distance of the target. These powerful muscles also allow him to use his tail as a melee weapon, smashing away predators with blows that can break steel.
His lens-like eyes allow him to spot targets from miles away, turning him into an unmatched sniper.
If his aim and skill aren't enough, Archytaur has the ability to manipulate the trajectory of his projectiles mid-flight, allowing them to curve in whatever way they need to in order to hit their mark.
Archytaur is amphibious, being able to move and shoot graciously both on land and in the water.

Archytaur's tail bow takes a while to fire and reload, making every shot critical.

Etymology[]
- The alien name "Archytaur" is a combination and contraction of the words "Archer" and "Ichthyocentaur".
- The species and planet names "Bythosian" and "Aphrosa" are taken from the names "Bythos" and "Aphros", two ichthyocentaurs depicted alongside Aphrodite in a mosaic depicting her birth from the sea.
Trivia[]
- Archytaur is based on an Ichthyocentaur (think a centaur but also a fish) and represents the constellation Sagittarius, with his abilities being based on Sagittarius's famous hunting bow.
