Alkamine is the Hidden Universe's DNA sample of a Jade Fibroozell, an acid sac-based species of unknown origin unique to Back in Action: Alien Universe.

Appearance[]

In Hooking Up With the K's, Alkamine is described as "a blue alien with a small amount of facial hair on his chin, a long head, eyes on his multi-colored ears, a costume with a large Omnitrix symbol, and green gel-like sacs with smaller dark green blobs floating inside them appearing atop silver shoulderpads on his shoulders as well as on his cheeks and either side of his waist."

In his 2021 rendition, his head is rounder, his tail is shorter, his coloration is generally paler, and the Omnitrix symbol in his costume is actually a gateway/window that shows the sac fluid in Alkamine's system. He also no longer has shoulder pads.

Powers and Equipment[]

Alkamine's primary abilities center around the multiple acidic green sacs on his body. He is able to throw these and melt enemies with them, as he did with Sii in Hooking Up With the K's. In the same episode, he demonstrated the ability to control their acidity, throwing them at Scarogus to contain but not injure him. His sacs quickly regenerate after being thrown. Said sacs interfere with signals being sent from within or received from outside.

Though not very resilient, he demonstrates an ability to quickly heal from a physical battle.

He can scrub DNA from a surface with his gel sacs (at low acidity), as shown in Can't Trust the Weather, Man.

His neutralized acid sacs are capable of preserving oxygen, as demonstrated in Maximum Slumber.

Like humans, he is incapacitated if held a certain way across his torso, as Darktar displayed in Can't Trust the Weather, Man.

His sacs are also able to remain after transformation with swiftly waning quality, as seen in Maximum Slumber.

Back in Action: Alien Universe[]

  • Ben debuted Alkamine in Hooking Up With the K's where he initially attempted to melt through Sii. Later, he was used to briefly detain Scarogus.
  • In Shades of Dawn, he was used with Azmuth on Xenon.
  • In Can't Trust the Weather, Man, he tried to scrub a fingerprint from Dawn's HQ, but was defeated by Darkstar and his clone. He was subsequently used at various points of the battle against Hurricane Vance.
  • In Maximum Slumber, Alkamine was used to wrapped Mercedes in a sustaining, neutralized sac while he used Clockwork to gain vital information on Spitshine.
  • In Dusk, he is used first to heal himself from the injuries incurred as Diamondhead from Dawn's Blankslate. He fights back Blankslate by containing her. Later, Alkamine is used to contain the heads of the freshly Healding-revived Darkstar and Dawn.
  • In Escalation, he keeps Max contained and secure from the corrupted Cooper, until Cooper forces him to revert back to human.

Etymology[]
