Aion is a magic-using, time-traveling lieutenant of the Second Gynurans who appears in Back in Action: Alien Universe.

Personality

Aion is mute, aside from mumbles and grunts. Anywhere he goes, however, he somehow manages to be the life of the party.

Powers and Equipment

Aion wields mana in such a way that he is able to warp time. This is unique, though his mastery of standard magic is lacking. His abilities allow him to produce time-based items (including a sword, akin to Professor Paradox's) which are capable of eroding inorganic objects.

He can also trap anyone except Transtella in a time stasis cube.

He can also transpose people's minds into others while previewing time.

He does not have as strong a grip on time as Paradox. Instead of traversing freely across the timelines, he is capable of going back and forth throughout time and previewing it visually with his magic. He is allowed to trigger butterfly effects to branch into other timelines.

History

Prior to Foreverlasting

At some point, Aion met Eli Griswold and the two gradually explored all of time. How Aion came to master time is currently unknown.

Back in Action: Alien Universe

• In Foreverlasting, Aion debuts alongside Eli. Together, they take Ben on a first-person journey through time - specifically through the intertwined histories of Sir George, the Tennyson Family, the Earth Plumbers, and the Forever Knights.
• In Can't Trust the Weather, Man, Eli and Aion unmask Reginald Poe's real species - Chimeran. This disturbs most Plumbers at first - who reconcile the fact quickly - but later leads to distrust from the people of Bellwood. Eventually, when Hurricane Vance wreaks havoc on the town and world, Eli and Aion debut the newest members of the Second Gynurans - Comedy (Cash), Tragedy (JT), and Selina.
• In Plight of Pinocchio, he is eating at The Nasty Burger with Eli.
• In Escalation, he aids Eli in achieving their true goals, but when the cost is revealed to be that his own life (at least, with him in control) would be cut dangerously short, he chickens out. This leaves Eli dead.
• In Never Set in Stone, he is the crux of Kevin's plan to help save Ben from Future Ben. His time powers are used to allow the team to fight in The Seams when Ilario and Ore pause time in a misguided attempt to talk it out with Future Ben.

Trivia

• He always keeps his knight mask on, even when wearing a suit and tie.
• Because of all the time traveling he and Eli do, it is possible that they got lost on the tree of time and are not in their home timeline.
• Aion was created originally just for Seventeen in College, but afterwards, he was worked into the second season of Back in Action: Alien Universe.
