Aeron is an antagonist from Tech 10: Star Spirit. He would later appear in the BTFF anniversary series Project Deca.
History[]
Pre-Series[]
Initially a fairly normal version of Theodore Logical from Dimension 4, Theo-4 was traumatized after Nova-4 was killed during a mission, and would eventually become involved in an accident that split him into two people: the unhinged, psychotic Aeron and the cold, reasoning Ego.
Aeron went on to become a mass murderer, hunting people for sport and jumping dimensions in search of more prey. He convinced Ego to help him with this on the condition that they would eventually obtain a power that let them undo all of their damage. After learning of the Mask of Simul and its location in Dimension 2, the primary timeline, Aeron and Ego opted to travel there.
Star Spirit (S1)[]
In Mad World, Aeron used his Projection Transformations to trap the entire city in a dream world from afar, stating that he was testing this timeline's Theo.
In Uptown Funk, Aeron took advantage of Amanda Deen's mall takeover to covertly kill one of the trapped patrons. When security footage exposing this was found by Alpha, he somehow broke into Plumber Base UT1 and shattered her Data Crystal, then proceeded to destroy the footage.
In Stairway to Heaven, Aeron took advantage of the Plumbers' crippled alert system to go on a killing spree, murdering an unknown amount of people before finally attempting to kill Isaac Logical. When this failed, he was forced to retreat to the mountains, where Theo finally caught up to him an engaged him in combat. After a tense battle, Aeron was eventually defeated and brought into custody.
Star Spirit (S2)[]
In Time 21, Aeron escaped from custody and attempted to retrieve the Mask of Simul from Orion. When this failed, he attempted to continue with his regular goal of killing people, but after being beaten by Theo twice, he decided to leave the timeline.
For the rest of the second season, Aeron and Ego would jump from timeline to timeline, being chased through various dimensions by Dimension 2's Theodore Logical. Various mishaps would occur along the way, including an incident in Blood and the Moon where he was transformed into a Vampire by Rozalio Gold, but he always ended up escaping in the end.
After Orion discarded the Mask of Simul in If, Aeron took the remains of the mask and had Ego use Clockwork to revert it to its original state, finally placing it in their possession.
Star Spirit (Conclusory Specials)[]
At some point between the end of Season 2 and Secret Valentine, Aeron encountered the Chronian businesswoman Millennia, who sold him a UV-absorbing crystal from Dimension 79 that nullified his vampiric weakness to sunlight.
In Secret Valentine, Aeron's dormant trauma from Nova-4's death prompted him into helping Dimension 2's Nova take down Sagittarius, a former member of the now-defunct Zodiac Organization who had snapped and gone on a murderous rampage.
At some point between the events of Secret Valentine and Libera Me From Hell, Aeron left Earth-83 altogether, hoping to find something interesting in another universe.
Between Series[]
After the events of Libera Me From Hell left Earth-83 in Quantum Flux, Aeron found himself unable to return to his universe of origin, leaving him purposelessly wandering the multiverse.
Project Deca[]
In MEGA Disappointment, Aeron and Ego were dragged to Earth-512-A when a rogue Anodite named Purponite summoned the Mask of Simul to his side in order to further his own schemes. Reluctantly teaming up with this universe's version of Ben Tennyson's team and a highly skeptical Attai Zehn, he eventually reclaimed the Mask of Simul and used the power Purponite had gathered with it to transform Ego into Ascendant Clockwork. He initially reneged on their agreement to undo the damage they'd caused, stating that they were simply too far gone, but he was eventually overwhelmed by Ego, who used Ascendant Clockwork's powers to re-merge them back into Theo-4 and end their existence for good.
Abilities[]
Unlike Theo, Aeron does not have any Delta Human DNA, initially making him as powerless as a normal human.
After being transformed into a Vampire by Rozalio Gold, Aeron obtained all the abilities of a standard member of the species.
Personality[]
Aeron is a cruel individual that takes pride and pleasure in killing people up close and personal. He likes to toy with his victims before killing them, regarding his actions as some sort of game. As such, he may not always take the most logical course of action, instead going for the more personally fulfilling options.
He generally acts very calm and aloof, with a snarky streak that could lead someone to believe they were having a conversation with a generally normal, if somewhat quirky, person. He doesn't care for putting up false pretenses, making him deceptively "trustworthy", to an extent.
As shown in Whom the Bell Tolls, Aeron does not like sharing his turf with other killers, and will actively seek them out and kill them with a large amount of dedication.
Equipment[]
InverTrix[]
Aeron's primary piece of equipment is the InverTrix, an alternate version of the StarTrix named for its power system that inverts direct current into alternating current, making it easier to regulate. After the incident that split Theo-4 into Aeron and Ego, the InverTrix lost the ability to transform the user directly, limiting them to Projection Transformations. On the flipside, the InverTrix seems to lack any sort of 'time-out' function, allowing it to function indefinitely.
Knives[]
Aeron's weapon of choice is his arsenal of knives that he conceals on his person. His personal favorite is his large kitchen knife, but he also carries around several throwing knives in order to more easily attack people from long distances.
