10rec is the Omnitrix's DNA sample of a Hemispinosus from the planet Zvezda. He is a free use alien made by Blake.
Appearance[]
10rec is a large alien, about the size of a blue whale, but resembles a tenrec. His body is primarily a white, with his underbelly colored black with two pale green stripes. He has an elongated snout and an uncanny, pronounced brow. He has pink ears, and a spiky body and head. He has green armor on his left limbs, and green bandages on his right limbs.
10rec wears the Omnitrix on his front left gauntlet.
Personality[]
10rec has the personality of a high school bully.
Powers[]
- 10rec can shapeshift into just about anything that he sees, doing so for ten minutes. This includes people of any species, animals, objects, plants, etc.
- In his base form, 10rec is rather large and has enhanced strength and durability.
- 10rec's spikes make for good defense.
- 10rec is immune to evolution, and as such cannot have his genes manipulated by any species capable of doing so.
- 10rec can survive in space.
Weaknesses[]
- 10rec dies upon coming in contact with copper.
- 10rec's aggressive personality puts off others.
- 10rec cannot access an Ultimate form due to his evolution immunity.
- 10rec's transformations are limited to ten minutes, no more and no less. The only way to bypass this is to use the Simplicitrix to transform, meaning 10rec cannot immediately change from one mimicked form to another.

Etymology[]
- 10rec's name is a play on "ten," referring to his ten minute limit, and "tenrec," the animal he is based on.
- 10rec's species name is a play on "Hemicentetes semispinosus," the scientific name of the lowland streaked tenrec, the more specific species of tenrec he is based on.
Trivia[]
- 10rec was the twelfth in an experiment of having several people give attributes for a single alien, independent of each other, with Blake needing to figure out the design and the way all the powers could come together cohesively.
- 10rec's ability to transform for 10 minutes, no more no less, references the primary functionality of the Omnitrix, more specifically the pre-recalibration prototype version and the Reboot version.
- 10rec's color scheme is meant to be a reverse of Upgrade's, being white on top with a black and green underbelly, as opposed to black and green on top with a white underbelly.
